Why remove the alternate spelling to his name?
[edit]I'm replacing the removed sentence "(sometimes spelled Owen Mulligan). I have seen this on many other articles (eg Stilian Petrov), and I don't see why it was removed. and since there is a redirect here from Owen Mulligan, it is required--Macca7174 15:38, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- It's pointless just because some lazy journalist/person can't be bother to look up how to spell his name doesn't give Owen Mulligan any creditability its wrong and shouldnt be included (Gnevin 16:48, 17 December 2006 (UTC)) .
- I disagree - the article is simply stating that his name is sometimes spelled Owen - whether that is right or wrong
isseems (Macca7174 18:14, 15 February 2007 (UTC)) NPOV.--Macca7174 12:24, 14 February 2007 (UTC)- OK whate ver you think is best Gnevin 20:47, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

- It's a bit silly putting the wrong version of his name into this article. There is only one correct spelling, that certain commentators are unable to manage it does not mean Mulligan has another name. Make a new wikipedia, Idiots' Wikipedia, and put it in there? Work
[edit]What does this fella work at? I'm just looking at that legend of a goal on 13 August 2005 and it was better than any professional so I'd like to know what his professional work is. Thinking of him as a farmer/plumber/lawyer etc when watching that skill really brings home the skill of the man (and many other footballers and hurlers).
