[edit]What is necessarily conservative about this organization?
- Have you read the list of members? Famousdog 13:15, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes. Mainly obscure people. Some Republicans and Democrats too. I 'm not saying this organization isn't conservative, just that there isn't proof for it being so. I don't think this falls on the right left spectrum, as its focus is mainly American Arab relations.
- Hmmm. I'd argue that the Democrat-Republican axis is Right-Further Right, not Left-Right, but lets look at their occupations:
- Defense
- Defense
- Oil
- Defense
- Defense
- Spying
- Some Senator
- Finance
- That's a pretty Tory line-up right there! But you're right. There's no explicit proof of agenda, so this is all supposition. If you don't like the label "conservative" by all means remove it or applying a label that you're happy with. And please sign your comments! Famousdog 13:37, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Where does their funding come from? I read somewhere that the bulk of the organization's funding comes from Saudi Arabia. Is that true? Pburman505 (talk) 15:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit]This article has been heavily sanitized and much information from reliable sources critical of MEPC's agenda successively removed and replaced with references to it's own website. I'm going to start deleting this (mainly promotional and POV) material soon unless reliable, independent sources are included. Famousdog (c) 07:39, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
