I don't generally understand why images get changed on a person's death, but in this case the reason was that the original image was blurry compared to the new image. While the resolution of the older images has been improved, it is still nine years older than the newer image, so I doubt that changing it back will be seen as an improvement. If you know of an image that supports our image policies, then we would be able to consider using it. --Super Goku V (talk) 07:19, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I completely agree about changing the image. My boyfriend mentioned that the lead image was really unflattering, and I completely agreed. I wanted to use the Pepsi 400 one, and checked Wikimedia Commons, where the URL was not currently working. I added a corroborating source that the image was taken by DoD, and then changed the lead image. I think it honors the person who recently died by using an image of how she looked when she was alive. I think the two images of her later in life aren't ideal images to be the first one to pop up at the beginning of the article, but the Pepsi 400 one is much better, IMHO. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 03:47, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I like the Pepsi 400 image that is there now. In spite of various comments since her death, I don't think Lisa looked well for a long time. Not just recently. — Maile (talk) 22:13, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that the 2005 Pepsi 400 image is probably the best for now. The 2014 image is very fuzzy in its original version and is still incredibly unflattering after its gratuitous editing in its current incarnation (there's a visible box of what was edited that can be seen when viewing the full photo, too). The 2006 image isn't terrible but considering it's not much newer than the 2005 Pepsi 400 image, I think the Pepsi 400 one is more suitable. Breaktheicees (talk) 19:21, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All Lisa said in the Playboy interview is that "he made his attempts at coming into [her] room and being inappropriate while drunk."
Referring to pervy behavior as "abuse" is an embellishment. The references to Edwards should be removed from the early life section since we don't know all the details. Strangerthings7112 (talk) 07:48, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies about first edit, but this tab seems to have been partially written as if it were a PR blurb - also, is PCF the correct title or the organization? The Elvis says that an organization known as The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation has existed since the 80s under a different name, is this the same org or something unrelated? 71.172.19.223 (talk) 00:25, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Only child" is unambiguous. If we write "only daughter", then the natural question is: "What? Did he have a son or sons?" "Daughter" is bad writing, since it suggests to the reader that something has been left out of the article (something is hidden). tgeorgescu (talk) 04:18, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
