[edit]- Dangerous Dogs Act
It could just as well be stated the the introduction of the dangerous dogs acts was a triumph. I recall there being opposition at the time, as with many pieces of legislation though. Surely this needs to go as POV? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gomez2002 (talk • contribs) 14:08, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
It became a byword for kneejerk, ineffective legislation. IIRC lots of harmless dogs ended up getting put down and lots of dangerous ones were not covered by the Act. And it's not "POV" to report somebody else's opinion, especially if that opinion was important and widely-held. Paulturtle (talk) 11:26, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Current position
[edit]"Nowadays he is working at New York University - USA and The University of Sydney - Australia as First Professor of International Negotiations and Political Science."
Is this correct? Baker doesn't appear to be listed on the staff of either institution. Espresso Addict (talk) 19:38, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
