Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
Currently, Suaalii is widely known as Joseph in the media, however, there are small mentions of him being known as Joe among teammates and coaches. As per WP:COMMONNAME, this is not reason enough to move the article title, but as for the infobox title, I don't think it's an appropriate place to WP:REFSPAM about a MOS:HYPOCORISM. I personally think that for WP:BLPs, the title of an infobox should be the same as the article name, but I'm not sure if the MOS is specific about that. @Fleets: perhaps you'd like to weigh in. I would say if the likes of Trent Robinson and Wayne Bennett refer to him as Joe, backed up by cited sources, then it is justified. I am not claiming that he is only known as Joe, and the links you have referred to could be appropriately targeted to the body text.Fleets (talk) 07:24, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Joe is a common English-language diminutive of Joseph, and its acknowledgement is seemingly unnecessary under MOS:HYPOCORISM, but for the time being I've moved it to the body text and reduced the string of references to just one to tidy it up. Narkova (talk) 12:33, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone know how to edit the code so Suaalii's international rugby union caps for Australia can show up? Right now the code is entered but it is not showing up on the preview page. Wikipedeon (talk) 23:32, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
