  • Although I do have an affiliation with the subject, I believe I am acting within the guideline "If you do write an article on an area in which you are personally involved, be sure to write in a neutral tone and cite reliable, third-party published sources, and beware of unintentional bias." from the Wikipedia:Conflict of interest page. To further ensure this I have removed a line or two which could be perceived as being in the interest of the subject and added more references. Hopefully this shows my commitment to producing a quality Wikipedia article and clears the issue up for you. Please let me know if you feel anything else needs to be done.

  • Third party has made edits to article, and as this was an action requested to wait for by Billinghurst before removing the conflict of interest banner, am now doing so.

I do not believe that this adequately covers this situation. You have a very specific vested interest. Your user page provides no detail that reflect your vested/conflicted interest in the person. Your only visible participation on Wikipedia is for a person in which you have an interest. No third party has
I have reinstated the {{COI}} as in my opinion, it is still relevant. If you think that I am being unfairly harsh, then you may wish to use one of the existing resolution processes within Wikipedia. -- billinghurst (talk) 00:43, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
