Good job on this article! My biggest qualm with passing this article is the writing and the amount of content in some areas (or lack thereof).

  • "occurring between the meridans 45°E" - "meridians" is misspelled
  • "Once onshore, the system quickly weakened and was last noted on May 27 as a dissipating low." - I recommend re-wording that to: "The system quickly weakened once inland and was last noted on May 27 as a dissipating low."
  • " its re-emergence into the Arabian Sea on June 11. Once back over water, convection rapidly spread westward in response to an anticyclone over the Arabian Peninsula and Afghanistan. Early on June 11, the cyclone was estimated to have attained tropical storm status based on a ship report near the center of 65 km/h (40 mph) " - Are you sure the cyclone attained tropical storm status early on June 11? Because, according to the track map, it appears that the cyclone had already been in the Arabian Sea almost 24 hours. But according to the article, both events happened on the same day and further, the upgrade, which occurred second, was early in the day.
  • "24 hours in Bombay, that caused deadly flash flooding and mudslides.[16] " - Change that to: "24 hours in Bombay, which caused deadly flash flooding and mudslides.[16]"
  • The largest lack of content from this article would be on the Gay section (Super Cyclonic Storm Gay, that is). Without reading the main article for the storm, I would have assumed there was no impact in Thailand. Additionally, I would have been led to believe that Gay caused 69 deaths and $25.3 million in damage. In reality, there was more than 900 fatalities and $521 million in damage.
  • Four references have capitalization errors in their titles, including:
    • Reference #6: "cyclone causes widespread damage in india's orissa coast" ---> "Cyclone causes widespread damage in india's orissa coast"
    • Reference #7: "death toll in cyclone rises to 26 in india"" ---> "Death toll in cyclone rises to 26 in india"
    • Reference #22: "rains' death toll rises to 16 in Karachi, Pakistan" ---> "Rains' death toll rises to 16 in Karachi, Pakistan"
    • Reference #30: "storm batters Southeast Bangladesh" ---> "Storm batters Southeast Bangladesh"
  • I have seen one more footnote error. The url for reference #2 is a deadlink; please find it in a web archive system such as the WayBack Machine, or get a replacement link.

Pardon my delay in finishing this up. I got sidetracked and forgot to get back to it. Thanks for the review George! Cyclonebiskit (talk) 17:07, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
