Shahedshahr (Persian: شاهدشهر)[a] is a city in the Central District of Shahriar County, Tehran province, Iran. The city was formed by the merger of several villages in 1997.[3]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 18,855 in 4,599 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 20,865 people in 5,694 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 25,544 people in 7,543 households.[2]
