Paulo Tadeu Viana Martins (born May 11, 1997) commonly known as Paulinho Curuá, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Remo.
Career
[edit]In 2016, Curuá had a short spell with the under-20 side of São Raimundo-AM.[1] He made his professional debut in 2017 for Central, in a match of the Campeonato Pernambucano.
In 2018, he was loaned to Tapajós, where he won the Campeonato Paraense Second Division. The following year, he was loaned to São Raimundo-PA, also from Santarém.
In 2020, it was bought outright by Tapajós. He was loaned to Tuna Luso, where he won the Campeonato Paraense Second Division for the second time.[citation needed]
In 2021, he was loaned to Remo for the Série B season.[2] He made his debut in a 1–1 draw with Náutico, where he came on in the 69th minute. The following year, he scored his first goal for Remo in a 2–0 win over ABC in Série C. The goal was featured nationally on Rede Globo's Fantástico program.[3]
At the end of April 2023, his loan with Remo was not renewed. However, three months later, he signed for Remo permanently.[4]
