Nat Sakimura (born July 26, 1965) is a Japanese researcher in the field of information technology, known for his contributions to identity management and privacy protection.[1] Sakimura has been instrumental in developing several key standards and protocols, including OpenID Connect, OAuth PKCE,[2] JSON Web Token (JWT), and JSON Web Signature (JWS).
