Kalashtar (Persian: كلشتر)[a] is a village in, and former capital of, Kalashtar Rural District[4] of the Central District of Rudbar County, Gilan province, Iran. The capital has been transferred to the village of Jamalabad-e Kuseh.[5]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,272 in 409 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,314 people in 438 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 32 people in 11 households.[2]
