DescriptionWren's Egg and Nest, bronze age cists, Blairbuy Farm.jpg
English: The Wren's Egg and Nest. Seen to the right of the picture by the wood and described as a proto-neolithic temple, the nest is a natural tree covered level mound and the Egg is a big glacial erratic with two smallish stones 20-30 yards to the west. (link) Two weeks before my visit the local farmer at Blairbuy had unearthed an ancient grave with three cists near to the Wren's Stone, one of which contained a skeleton. (link)
