English: Synchronous electric clock, the Telechron model 2H07-Br "Ambassador", manufactured between 1937 and 1940. The small circular window above the center is a "power interruption indicator". If the electric power went off temporarily while the owner was out, the clock would read the incorrect time. To warn of this, an electromagnet mechanism would display a red color in this window, reminding the owner to reset the clock.
