Summary

Description
English: Seven Dials There are in fact only six, one for each of the six roads that originally met here - although it is also said that the pillar itself acts as the seventh sundial. At one time there was a pub on each street apex and the area was notorious for crime and destitution. Only The Crown, opposite, remains and the 7 streets that now converge here are filled with upmarket shops and eateries. The dial itself is a replacement erected in the 1980's.
