Summary
| Description | MTA Metro-North Railroad is rehabilitating the Tarrytown station. Workers are replacing all station elements, including both overpasses, which also will be raised to meet new freight standards. Two existing elevators will be replaced and a third will be added to serve the west side parking area. Six staircases serving the overpasses and two staircases that connect platforms to sidewalks on east side and both 10-car platforms and canopies also will be replaced. Work on this $39 million project, funded by the federal economic stimulus program, is expected to be completed by the spring of 2012.
