Hong Kong Funky Dance Centre | Kelley Production Co. Ltd. was established in 1984 as a formally registered dance organization in Hong Kong[1]. The founder, Ms. Kelley Lam (Kelley), has been dancing since childhood and has extensive stage performance experience. Additionally, she has 26 years of teaching experience in various dance forms, including ballet, Chinese dance, jazz dance, fitness dance, and various ethnic dances, with a particular expertise in teaching slimming dance. To date, she has taught over 10,000 slimming dance classes, an impressive number.
In the 1980s, Ms. Kelley integrated various dance elements into fitness dance, creating Jazz Exercise, enabling students to enjoy the fun of dance while achieving healthy weight loss. In the 1990s, she introduced Funky Dance from the United States, sparking a Funky Dance craze across Hong Kong, with many imitators. Kelley's unique slimming Funky Dance is highly intense and effective, making it a hot topic in the media and earning the nickname "Hell’s Fat-Burning Dance." Thus, Kelley is undoubtedly a pioneer in promoting Funky Dance fitness in Hong Kong!
Unlike typical fitness centres and dance schools, the founder, Ms. Kelley Lam, continues to personally teach classes, maintaining her energy and passion. She reveals the secrets of dancing a healthy and beautiful life through Funky Dance.
