Picture requests
editHello there! I have a request for high quality photographs of the statues of Koufax and Robinson at Dodger Stadium for the following articles: Stealing Home (statue) and Sandy Koufax Monument. Would be much appreciated. Thanks! Omnis Scientia (talk) 21:24, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- I had posted a photo of the Jackie statue on the Dodger Stadium article only for it to be flagged as a copyright infringement saying the statue wasn't in the public domain... pretty sure if thats the case the Sandy one would be flagged too. Spanneraol (talk) 21:38, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Precisely the issue. But I was hoping that there is a chance someone here has a photo they took themselves of the statues, then that would be allowed/won't be flagged for copyright infringement. Either that or know how to track down a photo which meets the requirements here. Omnis Scientia (talk) 21:43, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- The photo I posted was one I took myself at the stadium.. they claimed the statue itself was copyrighted. Spanneraol (talk) 22:01, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Public art is copyrighted? Now that's a new one. Goodness, no wonder there are so few photos in general on this site. Ah well... Thanks for taking the time to respond though. Much appreciated! Omnis Scientia (talk) 22:06, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
