Editing For Effie
It is with great sadness to report that Effie Kapsalis passed away on December 11, 2022. Please help us honor Effie's memory by editing about Smithsonian women on Wikipedia and Wikidata on January 8th and 9th. This topic was near and dear to Effie as she was a fierce advocate for open access, Wikipedia, and women's history.
If you'd like to share your memories of Effie, please do so here or here.
In addition to joining the editing in January, please contribute to this effort by adding below any articles to create or to edit on Wikipedia, or properties to create or edit on Wikidata.
