These users came to my attention due to the Fixing Kanye's Wikipedia video posted by DontPanicOnline with "gonzo" journalist Nimrod Kämer. The video shows Kämer stopping celebrities on the street during Paris Fashion Week and telling them that he has changed their Wikipedia articles and that he will change them back for a fee. Mentioned (and shown) in the video are changes to Mathew Horne, Alan Sugar, Vivienne Westwood, Kanye West, and Donald Faison. All of the edits were made on March 26, 2012 by 176.251.5.150, except for the changes to Kanye's article, which were made by Gal deren d. Gal also made a similar change to Sean Combs just after the Kanye edit that fits the profile of the other edits (though this was not in the video). I was unable to find two edits mentioned in the video (a change to Horne's article and another to Julian Assange's).
These accounts have also both edited the articles for Munio Weinraub, Amos Gitai, Roy Arad and Itamar Ben Canaan.
User Gal Deren came to my attention due to the similar name, but only made one edit to Ari Libsker (also edited by 176.251.5.150).
The edits from 176.251.63.239 seem to largely pick up where Gal deren d left off, editing the same articles and adding the same content as seen at Nimrod Kämer, Munio Weinraub, Amos Gitai and 2011 Israeli social justice protests. There seems to be similar overlap with User:Gerhardrichter as well (edits on Weinraub and Kämer). 94.174.91.201 edited across many of the same articles (Nimrod Kämer, Joshua Simon, Ari Libsker, Petite Meller, Amos Gitai and Itamar Ben Canaan) from December 2011 to February 2012.
Asaf Manyy is very similar to Asaf Einy, who is credited as taking the photograph for Petite Meller - File:Petite Meller photographed in my studio, 2011..jpg uploaded by Gal deren d. Both Asaf and Gal's first two edits were remarkably similar [1] [2]. Asaf also edits across the same group of articles as the others (Keshet Broadcasting, Itamar Ben Canaan, Nimrod Kämer, Ari Libsker).
I've requested checkuser since I'm seeing a pattern of hopping IPs/user names and editing on the same articles. Gobōnobo c 22:06, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

edit- Compliments for the clear report. It is Likely that Gerhardrichter is related to Gal deren d. Gal deren and Asaf Manyy are very Stale, but for obvious reasons and the reasons you've given, I'd say they are/were operated by the same person, and I've blocked them. All socks blocked and tagged. WilliamH (talk) 12:44, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- I have subsequently tagged Nimrod Kämer, as it's bleedin' obvious it's an autobiography. WilliamH (talk) 14:11, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Master given a week, IPs are a little stale to block. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 00:17, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Technically the master is Asaf Manyy, as that was created in 2009. Feel free to tinker with the blocks/tags if you feel it necessary. I have also filed a report at WP:COIN here. WilliamH (talk) 00:40, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Moved and redone. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 01:02, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- I've just blocked 176.251.63.239 for 1 week for block evasion. WilliamH (talk) 16:17, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Updated the master from Asaf Manyy (talk · contribs) for posterity. This user was banned by the foundation from editing all WMF projects, as indicated here. WilliamH (talk) 23:08, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Hopefully I haven't jumped the gun on this, but the new user did just recreate an article that's been deleted several times as a creation of Nnimrodd. The article was a copy and paste of the previous one (and used a diff that is not accessible because of the article's deletion). –Roscelese (talk ⋅ contribs) 06:02, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

In an article posted to the International Business Times, "Wikipedia And Paid Edits: Companies Pay Top Dollar To Firms Willing To 'Fix' Their Entries", there is an interview with Nimrod Kämer. In the interview he claims to edit Wikipedia "all the time" and claims that his favorite thing to add to articles is a 'See Also' section. The journalist writes that Kämer directed them to the Bleach (London) article, where he has inserted a link to Nora's Hair Salon. The article was created by User:Kony Adams Jr and included the see also link from the beginning.
The IBT article goes on to describe how Kämer's article was deleted and he had to "invent" a middle name to get an article. The article Nimrod Nimmy Kamer was created by User:Jeff cooon. User:86.162.186.182 added 'See Also' sections that included links to the 'Nimmy' article at Jolyon Rubinstein here and Mockumentary here. User:Edward Fraizer's style of user page is reminiscent of those often created by Kamer sockpuppets. The Edward Fraizer account created Edward Akrout which was later edited by Kony Adams Jr. Edward Fraizer also provided the image for the Joe Wade (filmmaker) article, which was created by User:MannieHorowitz, an SPA that demonstrated similar user page creation style. Wade's article is linked from the 'See also' section of Jolyon Rubinstein alongside Nimrod Nimmy Kamer. Rubinstein, Wade, and Kamer are all associated with the Don’t Panic UK website.
A number of 'See Also' sections linking to the Nimrod Nimmy Kamer article have also popped up.
- From User:31.221.94.139 on Roy Arad here (also edited on Nimrod Nimmy Kamer)
- From User:212.183.140.29 on Jack Peñate here
- From User:212.183.128.138 on Milo Yiannopoulos here
These also seemed related:
- User:Marina T. is probably stale but uploaded File:Bucuresti Mall photo by Nimrod Kamer 01.jpg and File:Bucuresti Mall photo by Nimrod Kamer 02.jpg
- User:87.194.41.26 claimed that Kamer was engaged to Wafah Dufour here
- User:94.159.173.239 added Kamer's name to Mesudarim.
- User:212.183.128.244 added his name to the Buzzfeed article.
An edit war on the Trevor Griffiths article beginning in September 2013 attempted to repeatedly add the same content. Many of the edits were in the same 212.183.128 IP range. User:212.183.128.248, User:212.183.128.219, User:194.61.209.19, User:212.183.128.192, User:212.183.128.145, User:212.183.140.17, User:212.183.128.167, User:212.183.128.98, User:212.183.128.61, User:212.183.128.131, User:212.183.140.35, User:212.183.128.174, User:212.183.128.160, User:212.183.128.176, User:212.183.128.179, User:212.183.140.28. The edit war was continued by User:A kind soul until that account was blocked.
Some of the IP addresses touched on the common topic of pro-metrication, a favorite of Kamer's, and 212.183.128.131 directly edited the Nimrod Nimmy Kamer article. Gobōnobō c 06:25, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

edit- Clerk endorsed - Named accounts only, per the evidence provided above - this is very suspicious. Someguy1221 (talk) 01:07, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- Jeff cooon (talk · contribs) is Unrelated to anybody else. A kind soul (talk · contribs), Edward Fraizer (talk · contribs), and Kony Adams Jr (talk · contribs) are extremely Likely to be related. Marina T. (talk · contribs) and MannieHorowitz (talk · contribs) are Stale. The sockpuppet listed in the archive, Lmeiri (talk · contribs), is also Unrelated to anybody else.
