Following suggestion made at COIN here. The two socks are both SPA for Greg J. Marchand. The master made 4 edits in 2009, two of them creating biographies of minimally invasive surgeons, which is what Marchand is too. The master just "woke up" to keep the Marchand page. Am requesting a CU in case anybody wants to look for other sleepers, but the behavioral evidence here is very clear. As an aside apparently Ventus55 is still active in German WP and their M.O. was doing these kind of bios of surgeons. I am unaware of their work ever being as over-the-top bad as the Marchand page, but maybe that is more about the client (Marchand is big time into setting surgical "world records" and publicizing them, per his website and the press releases listed on the article talk page... and that is what the WP article about him currently does) Jytdog (talk) 03:42, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Added another SPA that showed up at RfD today. Jytdog (talk) 13:13, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SPA, presenting similar arguments to retain the promo-piece @Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Greg J. Marchand as the other socks: notwithstanding the phenomena of an eleven-hour old account wielding policy with such a degree of precision... —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap shit room 09:54, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Exact same behavior as the socks in the parent case. Relentless. Please do a CU to find other sleepers. Jytdog (talk) 18:18, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Likely more socks around. This group appears to be fairly experienced :-( Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 18:31, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Must have slipped through the net...although a day younger than Dmonda, User talk:Drewmonda is littered with deleted (and obviously paid for) biographies particularly from the medical world. —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap shit room 16:10, 7 May 2018 (UTC) —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap shit room 16:10, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Newly created accounts were operated in a very similar way for a few hours with apparent purpose of commenting at AfD but showing and claiming deep knowledge of the AfD process. Both account liked to focus on stubs, promo, and used the words 'I' and sometimes suffixed words with 'a'. Possibly the best clue is both use our encyclopedia at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Synchron, Inc. and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/United States v. Camacho. I'll comment I have content that is down for !delete votes for both of these account so I am not neutral Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mullvad and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ISPIRT. There was no response to the challenge at User talk:Cheerio042#July 4th AfD however Coffeeluvr613 was created a day or two later. Djm-leighpark (talk) 22:35, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

On 7th July ThatLawStudent has made contributions to about 30 AfDs in the course of a couple of hours. The profile is similar to Coffeeluvr613 (6 July 2019) and Cheerio042 (4/5 July 2019). Contribution profile is such WP:DUCK applieds. Previous investigation blocked Cheerio042 but not Coffeeluvr613. (Comment: ThatLawStudent is opposing my keep in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PureVPN (2nd nomination)). Checkuser requested but likely to show proxy.Djm-leighpark (talk) 21:56, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
