- London Bridge task force → Wikipedia:WikiProject British Royalty/Operation London Bridge task force (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Cross-namespace redirect that hasn't been linked anywhere for the year it's been in mainspace, and that doesn't seem especially convenient or important to warrant a mainspace-to-Wikipedia redirect. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 20:28, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Keep – The London Bridge Task Force from the WikiProject of Current Events gained RS notability (The Washington Post, The Sydney Morning Herald, & Gizmodo are examples). After a discussion in November 2023, the task force was moved out from the WikiProject of Current Events and moved to the Wikipedia:WikiProject British Royalty. Back in May 2024, the redirect was used 54 times per the Pageviews Analysis. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 20:37, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- I know, I created the task force. The redirect whose pageviews you linked there was Wikipedia:WikiProject Current events/London Bridge task force (which is perfectly reasonable to keep as the previous place where the taskforce was located), while I am talking about the redirect from mainspace London Bridge task force. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 21:22, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete per wp:returntored - sources posted above show that this had enough coverage to be a mainspace article, so redirect should be deleted to encourage article creation. BugGhost 🦗👻 00:57, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

Not mentioned in target. QuicoleJR (talk) 17:15, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment - "The Quest for Thelda" was a Zelda 1 clone with just barely enough changes to avoid a copyright claim, made for the TRS-80 Model III, made by "Sundog Systems". It might be article or list-inclusion worthy, I'm not certain. Fieari (talk) 23:47, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Fieari: If it is notable, RETURNTORED applies. If it is not notable, it still isn't mentioned at the target. Either way, it should be deleted. QuicoleJR (talk) 01:32, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I had some time so I did a little snooping around for sources. I can find reliable but purely routine coverage that this game existed (that is, purchasing catalogs and magazines posting lists of titles "released this month!"), and I can find a lot of unreliable (blogs, forums, fan pages, and youtube) sources that cover it in more detail, but nothing reliable that has anything substantial. The sources would be barely enough to be included on a hypothetical "list of CoCo 3 software" but we don't even have such an article, and I'm somewhat doubtful one is even warranted. Pity, it does seem like a fascinating historical artifact of the time, but video games just weren't treated seriously for analysis or review at the time so there's no record of discussion about it. And modern retrospectives are rarely done for games of this time period, or only for the big names. Fieari (talk) 04:50, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

obscure synonym. results gave me sneks (really cute ones at that), keyboards, and assorted restaurant names. as noted in the creation, an explanation is provided in tex-mex cuisine in houston, though in passing, and i don't think it'd be better off retargeted there. as is, it might be a somewhat plausible misremembering of tex-mex, but i'm not really too keen on that cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 14:33, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

- It's not a neologism and it is used in reliable sources. 1983 New York Magazine; 2007 U.S. newspaper; 2012 book; 2014 book; 2017 book; 2023 book; -- 65.92.246.77 (talk) 04:28, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete: Per nom. Not convinced by the sources provided by the IP. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:06, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Keep per the IP's sources since it is a real term in the industry. Alternatively, redirecting towards Tex-Mex cuisine in Houston might work since it is mentioned there and the IP's 2014 and 2017 sources both describe its use there. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 20:22, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

- The Most Famous Barbadian → Rihanna (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
(NPP action) This isn't an alternative name or title – it's just a statement about Rihanna (which isn't what redirects are meant for) and it's not supported by the target article. jlwoodwa (talk) 02:27, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete – Agreed as a fellow reviewer. Zero plausibility; zero value at the current target; not even close enough to plausibility to work for actually reasonable targets of this hyperspecific inquiry like List of Eastern Caribbean people#Barbados or List of Barbadian Americans. TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 03:51, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Weak keep To be fair, she is the most famous Barbadian by a landslide. Someone-123-321 (I contribute, Talk page so SineBot will shut up) 08:04, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete Very implausible. QuicoleJR (talk) 17:28, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete, redirects are not the place to decide who's the most famous/important/noteworthy from a country, and pointing these anywhere would be plainly subjective. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 21:34, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete this subjective redirect. While Rihanna may be the first person who comes to mind when they think of famous Barbadians, there are other Barbadians who may be equally famous. This thing is better left for search engines. Regards, SONIC678 17:34, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. Online secondary sources do seem to have a tendency to call Rihanna "the most famous Barbadian", but it's accompanied with qualifiers like "most famous Barbadian alive today" or "most famous Barbadian making headlines" etc., and this doesn't seem to be a crystallized nickname or title in the vein of "King of rock and roll" or "Queen of Pop".
