Seems to have been made in error by a bot, nonsensical redirect. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 17:56, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article was at this title for maybe 2 days in 2017, as best I can tell. No need to have implausible detritus like this floating around. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 17:40, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm fine for deletion, btw. Newimpartial (talk) 18:01, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Newimpartial: You can tag it as WP:G7 to get rid of it post move - that applies for anything in the future as well. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 20:25, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think this template redirect is ambiguous and I don't think "oops" is a good way of describing "author request". There are a whole range of speedy deletion criteria that apply to pages created as a result of an "oops", the pages created in error portion of G6, articles duplicating another topic, test pages and experiments, broken files etc could all be described as "oops" deletions. 192.76.8.84 (talk) 13:34, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Colonization" is mentioned nowhere in the target article, leaving it unclear what this redirect is meant to refer. Steel1943 (talk) 05:53, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as a nonsense redirect extending the humorous RfD precedents at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 April 24#Yellow dwarf colonization and its precedents. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 06:02, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect is confusing because it's just about Crab, and redirecting it to Crustacean would cause a problem because should it go to Crab or Crustacean? (WP:XY issues.) Steel1943 (talk) 05:51, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Other than what? Looks like they are here, and anyone looking up this phrase from the target page would be confused about why they were redirected back here. Steel1943 (talk) 05:47, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete It seems to have been created as part of a 2004 project curated by Nickj (who hasn't edited since 2012), but as 69 of the 70 pages related to redirects have been deleted I can't easily see precisely where it originated or what if any discussion there was about it. In the absence of that all I have to go on is how it presently appears, and in that regard I agree completely with the nominator. Thryduulf (talk) 15:26, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete all as the list only provides statistics for last year. There are other date-based redirects to the target, but unlike these, they have potentially valuable history. An anonymous username, not my real name 02:54, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
