The result of the discussion was Keep as likely and useful to some. Tikiwont (talk) 18:54, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unlikely search term (specific inclusion of the (actress) DAB component). I listed the target itself at the Acha DAB page, so anyone searching for "Acha" would find it there. DMacks (talk) 19:45, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Retarget to Secret World Live. Merging optional. Tikiwont (talk) 19:00, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

From Peter gabriel (discography) to Peter Gabriel doesn't make sense. If this song deserves an article there should be a red link and not a redirect! TINYMARK 14:31, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jain/Buddhist agamas also discuss mythology. It is best to delete this orphan than convert into a disambig. Redtigerxyz Talk 13:53, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Delete as created with reference to a game, with the alternative not necessarily helpful. Tikiwont (talk) 18:45, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Invalid search term. Originally created as a spam redirect, until it was redirected to Battlefield 2. Apparently it's a mod or modding community, so we have no use for it. —Ryulong (琉竜) 08:52, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ned Baker

The result of the discussion was delete. JohnCD (talk) 22:22, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion. "Ned Baker" is not mentioned in the target article. Searching on Google for "ned baker" "Metasyntactic variable" only seems to show results that were sourced from Wikipedia. 69.210.143.203 (talk) 05:45, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete without prejudice. There has been much boldness associated with this title over the years. It was created in 2003 as an article that was duplicative of the Metasyntactic variable topic, but the name was not mentioned in the article until it was (apparently independently) added in February 2004.[1] The Ned Baker article remained unchanged, other than the addition of an interwiki link to the Hebrew Wikipedia in June 2004, until it was the subject of a Votes for Deletion (the then equivalent of today's AfD) nomination in September 2005. 45 minutes after the nomination, with no comments received, user:Robchurch boldly closed the discussion as "redirect to Metasyntactic variable" and redirected the page accordingly. Four and a half years later, in January 2008, user:Triona boldly removed all the examples from the target article "as this article has turned into an example farm."[2] (and it had), restoring "the most common examples for illustrative purposes" with their next edit [3]. "Ned Baker" did not make the cut. If it were to be added to Wikipedia today, it would probably fit better at the Placeholder name article, but afaict it has never been in that article and retargetting there would be no better than the current target. I am recommending deletion because, like the nominator, I have been completely unable to verify the name's use as a placeholder outside of material originating at Wikipedia. Given the apparently independent additions, my suspicion is that this is used, just not widely enough to have made it into (many) reliable sources (the nature of the topic means many such words and names are used but only a few will make it into print), so this deletion should be without prejudice to reinstatement should verification be found and the name added to an article. • Delete per above, interesting history though. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 19:57, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
