Keep per WP:GNG and Blythwood. He appears to have designed a whole family of typefaces, Freight, that has a cult fan base in the field of graphic design. For example, his work is discussed in the 2009 and 2011 editions of Graphics Design, Referenced, a leading text of type design, a survey of African-American historical artists and designers, and many other sources easily found online.
