This biography of a wine expert and Master of Wine is sourced only to a book he co-wrote. I have carried out WP:BEFORE and not found references to add. I don't think he meets WP:GNG or WP:ANYBIO. I wondered whether being a Master of Wine made him notable, but the discussion I found about this from 2010 did not reach consensus. Tacyarg (talk) 22:53, 21 September 2023 (UTC)

- Comment. Far from my area, but a review of Pedley's Good Housekeeping Wine Book, says "Jonathan Pedley is a Master of Wine and many will no doubt know him as the star of Keith Floyd's programmes on Channel 5." (The Herald 26 Jan 2002: 8). As he seems to have (co)written at least two books, he might be eligible as an author? This [1] appears to confirm the date of his wine mastery, though the bio appears self-written. Espresso Addict (talk) 00:53, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Comment. Pedley is a published author and a former TV personality. He is notable for these things alone.

- There are 28 other people in Masters of Wine category. Do you propose deleting their pages and the category as well? Unknown Unknowns (talk) 08:48, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, if they fail the test of verifiable notability. For more, see here. -The Gnome (talk) 11:12, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- Delete. Online search brings on almost nothing. And neither does text in books. The Keep comments are, so far, variants of "But he is famous!", "Surely, everyone knows about him!", and "There's other stuff on Wikipedia like that.... -The Gnome (talk) 11:12, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

- Delete: for lack of sourcing, this is about the best I can find [2]. Oaktree b (talk) 14:40, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Doesn't even seem to have book reviews, anything for him as an author is a link to buy his books. Oaktree b (talk) 14:42, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
