Álvarez has some coverage from his very brief career in Uruguay but I'm not seeing enough for WP:GNG or WP:SPORTBASIC. The best that I can find are El Pais, a squad listing, Espectador, another mere listing of him, and Montevideo, which mentions him once in the match report. Comment: Since I know very little about football, I wanted to know how Guillermo Álvarez fitted in WP:SPORTBASIC, since I'm reading that the Primera División Uruguaya is the "highest professional football league in Uruguay", but I'm having a difficult time finding independent sources in Spanish. Nación Deportes has some articles with his tags, although I can't find him in them. --NoonIcarus (talk) 10:23, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
