The result was keep. The consensus seems to keep this article even though there is room for improvement. Liz Read! Talk! 23:19, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

This article was a redirect to the father's article for many years. Recently, an editor removed the redirect and wrote a short article. The article was tagged for WP:A7, which I declined but at the same time I felt there wasn't enough notability for a standalone article, so I reinstated the redirect. The editor in favor of an article reverted. Although it may not qualify as an A7, the article fails WP:GNG. The article is mainly about a fight between a father and daughter over her sexuality, and because of the wealth and notoriety of the father attracts some coverage in the media. Is that enough? I don't think so, but the community will decide. Some of the language, BTW, in the short article is over-the-top. Bbb23 (talk) 12:57, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

- Keep She seems notable due to the BBC coverage, which seems to satisfy WP:GNG. I agree that it is probably wealth that made her notable, but that doesn't stop her being notable. I think our role here is less about judgement why subjects are notable and more about focus on if people are notable. CT55555 (talk) 15:19, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
- Keep The article needs work, but there are clearly sources covering her independent of her father: [1], [2], [3]. I also found mentions of the organization she founded. - Presidentman talk · contribs (Talkback) 15:24, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
- Keep Just about meets WP:GNG. Not a case of WP:BLP1E. Also WP:DINC. -Kj cheetham (talk) 23:17, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
- P.S. Though almost every source I've seen so far does mention her father. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:08, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
