Article has no sources, and Stasheff is probably not notable BE——Critical__Talk 00:23, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- We strongly, STRONGLY disagree that Christopher Stasheff is "probably" not notable (a phrase that implies a lack of research). Stasheff has a writing career that spans more than forty years, and has written over forty novels including translations into five different languages (not including English). He was one of the first writers to fuse science fiction and fantasy together, a blend which has influenced many other authors over the years.
As for citing sources, what kind of sources do you need? What, exactly, need to be documented? Tell us (his fans) what his entry needs, and we'll add it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.44.136.113 (talk) 14:34, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- This AfD nomination was incomplete (missing step 3). It is listed now. DumbBOT (talk) 14:59, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. It may not be sourced right now, but a quick Google makes me think he is notable. Chris (talk) 15:42, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - Sufficient career achievement to merit inclusion. Carrite (talk) 15:49, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep 5 decades of novels released by notable publishers, significant media attention. Article could use some attention and expansion, but this is in no way a deletion case. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 17:41, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - The article needs work but he appears to be notable. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 18:25, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep as per Starblind, no question of notability. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 21:20, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Snowball Keep, and a Jurassic-size trout for the nominator. The fact that the article is poorly referenced is cause to edit it and provide references, not delete it. "Probably not notable" isn't justification for deletion, and as noted above it indicates a clear lack of research. 40 novels over 40 years in multiple genres indicates inherent notability.Vulcan's Forge (talk) 03:46, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
