No indication that this is a government recognized place/union council. Routine mentions in newspapers, fails WP:GNG. BookishReader (talk) 17:51, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

- KEEP Added 3 new references to this article. Fixed the existing archived reference already there.
Passes WP:NPLACE now,... which states..."Cities and villages are generally kept, regardless of size, as long as their existence is verified through a reliable source".
WP:GEOLAND says..."Populated, legally recognized places are typically presumed to be notable".

- Ummm WP:NPLACE doesn't say the thing that you quoted. I think there used to be something similar at WP:PLACEOUTCOMES but that was changed quite a while ago. –dlthewave ☎ 15:56, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- Delete - This appears to be a Chowrangi or crossroads. It does not appear to be officially recognized, and the two newspaper sources are passing mentions which neither support the "residential neighborhood" claim nor establish GNG. –dlthewave ☎ 15:59, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
Comment Previous and old description was wrong, I have made the corrections and made it much more specific now. It's a Chowrangi or crossroads within the residential neighbourhood of Saeedabad, Karachi in Baldia Town. Thanks for pointing it out, gave me a chance to correct some mistakes on this article. Notability is supported by the 3 newspaper references now. Ngrewal1 (talk) 17:28, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
Source Analysis:
- KARACHI: Colleges in Baldia reflect govt apathy - Passing mention of a school that's near (not at) Bismillah Chowk.
- KARACHI: Rainwater submerges many roads - Named in a list of places that experienced flooding of roads in 2007.
- Illegal occupation: Encroachments removed from Baldia Town - Again mentioned in a list of places.
- Welcome to Baldia Town - Correct me if I'm wrong but this source doesn't mention Bismillah Chowk at all.
- Unfortunately I don't see anything here that comes close to establishing significant coverage, even after sources were added and the article was corrected to describe this as a square/intersection. –dlthewave ☎ 02:31, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Nice work. Thank you. BookishReader (talk) 21:32, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Delete: fails GNG per the above source eval. // Timothy :: talk 20:30, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
