Vladimir Yuryevich Burakov (born November 6, 1954) is a Russian politician who has served as chairman of the Party of Pensioners for Social Justice since July 26, 2016.[1]

Born on November 6, 1954, in Kharkov, Burakov graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1977 and the Moscow Higher Party School [ru] in 1989.[1] He worked at a number of agencies such as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation before becoming leader of the Party of Pensioners for Social Justice in 2016 after the dismissal of his predecessor, Evgeniy Petrovich Artyukh.[2]

He is a widower and has two daughters.[3]
