The company was founded in 2005 by Evans Akere,[2][6] Vanskere quickly emerged as a leading force in the Nigerian fashion industry. The brand is known for creating clothing that seamlessly blends traditional African aesthetics with modern style. It has shown collections at FIMO228 Runway in Togo[7][8] and Glitz African Fashion week in Ghana.[9][10][11][12][13] Vanskere designs are sold in boutiques in Dakar, Abidjan, Nigeria, Ghana.[14]
