Hello, I'm Gatemansgc. I noticed that you recently removed content from Southern Ming without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. editHi,@YLoGM: I had to revert that there as there no real references in the article. Please don't edit war to revert. It will be sent page protection and an admin will get involved no doubt. If you want to recreate it, do it in WP:Draft and ensure it is referenced. Please take a look at WP:REFB, which does give an idea to create them correctly. These days you can't just a bunch of text and expect it to be accepted. It needs references. I hope that helps!! scope_creepTalk 15:11, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

editYour recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Emperor Yingzong of Ming
editHello, I'm Velten Lecrade. I had to revert your edit from before as historical records clearly state that Zhu Qizhen's successor after the Tianshun Restoration was his son, Zhu Jianshen, the Chenghua Emperor. Please don't edit war to revert. It will be sent page protection and an admin will get involved no doubt. If you believe this is wrong and would like to reinstate your revision, please contact an admin and/or do your own research to verify the accuracy of this information. It would be greatly appreciated if you could do your own research and find evidence to provide otherwise. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Velten Lecrade (talk) 14:49, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
Hi I just realized that 'Jingtai Emperor' was placed as the successor of Zhu Qizhen's first reign in the article when I thought that there was only one section for both of his reigns during the Ming dynasty. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Velten Lecrade (talk) 17:20, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

Chongzhen Emperor
editI spoke with Gary Todd the person who took the photo of the portrait in china he said that the label beside the portrait at the Ming tombs said that it was Chongzhen Emperor so unless the museum is wrong the portrait is in fact Chongzhen Emperor. https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Gary_Lee_Todd#Question There’s the link to our conversation so you can see for your self. Hi, Please note that I have set this category up, with several parents. Per WP:OCAT please make further additions to this category, not Category:Historical eras etc. I have to point out that sorting them all on "era name" is the wrong way; they should sort alphabetically, so nothing needs to be added. Personally, I can't see the point of these articles, especially the very short ones, as the small amount of information not already in the Emperor's biography could be added there, but whatever. I am working my way through transferring them, and removing the other standard parents; you are welcome to help. Johnbod (talk) 15:40, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
Why did you undo my edit without any claim? Please show me your rationale.—波斯波莉斯 (talk) 13:41, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started
editHello, Ylogm
Thank you for creating Zhu Cilang.
User:North8000, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Notes from preliminary new page patrol. The article needs prose other than genealogy type info drawn from sources that are more than genealogy info. Most rel3evant is wp:notability which requires in-depth coverage by sources. I'm not marking any disposition of this, leaving for a later review, probably by others. Happy editing!

List of Ming dynasty era names Refs
editHi @Ylogm: I reviewed this page on page curation process. The references need a trans-title tag added with an appropriate English language translation for each non-English references. There is a significant amount of quotes on the article and not having an English translation makes them effectivly out of reach for the vast majority of English readers. Please add them. scope_creepTalk 12:19, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

Disruptive editing
editHello. Thank you for your contributions, however you have re-added uncited material without providing valid reliable sources from independent references, which is contrary to WP:BURDEN, and can be construed as disruptive editing. In addition, you are removing tags from articles without making the necessary corrections, which is disruptive editing. Please refrain from doing so. Onel5969 TT me 09:49, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chen Youliang, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Xiandao. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Zhu Honghuan moved to draftspace
editUnfortunately, an article you recently created Zhu Honghuan, is not ready as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage with citations from reliable and independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. I've moved your article to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's WP:GNG guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks for your contributions to Wu (era). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ––FormalDude (talk) 23:46, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
Zhu Honghuan moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Zhu Honghuan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Jianwen Era a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 18:13, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
