editHi,
I noticed that you moved Standard Oil Gasoline Station to include a "(disambiguation)" suffix in the article title. Please note that per WP:DABNAME, if there is no primary topic, the disambiguation page should be located at the base title. I have reverted the move. nyuszika7h (talk) 11:07, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Nyuszika7H: Alright, thanks.

Disambiguation link notification for September 6
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited LBJ/Central (DART station), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Interstate 635. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Station names
editHi, uyou moved a bunch of stations from e.g. Hemming Park station to Hemming Park station (Jacksonville Skyway), citing in your edit summary "Station naming conventions". However, the applicable convention is Wikipedia:Naming conventions (US stations), and this does not support your moves. From that convention:
"Generally, U.S. station articles should be titled by their common name, followed by "station" if not already part of the name. In cases where the word "Station" is part of the proper name, it should be capitalized. This often occurs when the station is named after the railroad company or is a named transit center. In cases where "station" is not part of the proper name, or is not usually capitalized in sources, it should be in written in lower case."
I will undo your moves accordingly. Fram (talk) 07:39, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
@Fram: Alright. I was mistaken as I thought every station had to be named with the system name in case of disambiguation, but I guess I was wrong. Thanks! wxtransit talk

Your Dallas election articles
editHello, I am here to let you know that your Dallas election articles could be another major project for Wikipedia. I have created some myself even. I do believe this also essential part of what many people from Dallas call their local history and it is one of the largest cities in the United States, so making pages for historic elections is a good idea. - Thanks! I'm trying to find reliable sources of information for the pre-1900 election articles. :)

- True, I do think that this is a good idea. What I have noticed for elections is that usually ones that took place more than 20 years ago is hard to find documentation.

- One thing to be careful of – your new category, Category:Dallas mayoral elections, duplicated the existing Category:Mayoral elections in Dallas. I've redirected it. —swpbT 19:38, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Reply (Google), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slack (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Edits on the People's Alliance of New Brunswick page
editHello, Wxtransit, are you aware that you have recently reverted the PANB article to a version that is literally a copy-paste from the party's official website?[1] It looks like that article has a lot of problems, but surely there are solutions that don't involve reproducing the party's website word for word... Friggin Heck (talk) 15:08, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Friggin Heck: No, I wasn't, as I was just rolling back vandalism to an earlier state of the artiicle so it would be removed.
