Orphaned non-free media (Image:YuGiOH 5Ds.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:YuGiOH 5Ds.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:15, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Google chrome

You do realize that my userbox uses the same free logo as yours (I mimicked yours), and has the official colors of the Google chrome logo right? -- Cat chi? 18:43, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

First of all, you lied saying something like "redirect to pre-existing template (or userbox)" while making my template page a redirect to yours. Second, the moment I checked your template and went to the history, I noticed someone had added a non-free logo, currently used in the Google Chrome page, so I removed (I didn't check history before reverting your immature redirect edit). So you must've checked the your current template but never checked your own history page as to why I said, "yours has a non-free logo". So.. how much of a newbie are you? --staka (T) 19:40, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
I did not lie. I created the userbox about 20 minutes before you. I had taken the time to figure out the colors on the Official Google Chrome logo and applied them to the template. I am quite new to the site. I am still learning things. There is no reason to make a big deal out of it.
Your tone is quite hostile. I suggest a quick adjustment.
-- Cat chi? 19:57, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
So you didn't lie.. You said you mimicked but that was in the later edit. I get it now.. it's just that I remember seeing my time and date was earlier than time and date in some other edit in another page, so probably got mixed up. You brought the topic up and you're saying not to make a big deal of it.. I was just a little mad when you made my template a redirect to yours, I believe. Well anyways, you're okay now, satisfied and all? You just wanted to say you didn't have a non-free logo? (By the way, since you were new, I didn't think you would come check this talk page so I replied in your talk) --staka (T) 01:33, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Template:Anno Domini characters

For some reason, I have to go through each individual article to make sure any changes to the template appear in that article. And if they don't appear, I have to repost the template in each article, which is very frustrating. With the Universal Century characters template, I don't have that problem. I was wondering if you could help me with this. Shaneymike (talk) 17:37, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

There's one difference and that is that Universal Century template uses something like
{| style="margin:0 auto;" align="center" width="100%" class="toccolours"
| align="center" style="background:#ccccff" | '''[[Universal Century Characters]]'''
|-

while the Anno Domini template use Template:Navbox so there might be a problem occuring with the use of Navbox template. --staka (T) 18:10, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of "Kara Crane"

A page you created, Kara Crane, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. ~Pip 01:26, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Kii Kitano

A tag has been placed on Kii Kitano requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 13:58, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Binbō Danshi

A tag has been placed on Binbō Danshi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. No content in Category:M×0

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:M×0, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:M×0 has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:M×0, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Shinkenger citations

I do not have the name of the publication in which this information has been posted. However, if you look at the history of the page, you will see a link to a blog which hosts the scans, as well as scans on the talk page of the article which contain all that information.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:42, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

But other users will also say in-text citations are important. The article currently only has one information cited properly. It lacks sources. --staka (T) 03:44, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
I can't possibly use the scans as in-text citations (I had done so in the past, but it was decided that linking to a Photobucket/Imageshack-hosted image would violate copyright and whatnot). I can show you the references and citations do exist. I just cannot say where they explicitly come from (until the TV-kun, Hyper Hobby, and Figure-Oh features).—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:48, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Alright, fine. I'm sure references you used do exist, and may be reliable, but I wanted to actually be cited in the article. Leave it as is.. for now. --staka (T) 03:51, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to see where you think that was right.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:21, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Oh sorry, I was already writing it in your talk page.. --staka (T) 02:24, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure that's right, still. It's the British style, but an American wrote the primacy of the page.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:46, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
If the article topic is Britain related, you use the British style, while you use the American style when the article topic is US related. Only thing not in the manual of style is the use of different spelling and that was the answer. I already discussed this somewhere else.. ask at the help desk or discuss it in the Wikipedia:Manual of style talk page. --staka (T) 15:02, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
