List of female Members of the London Assembly
editHi SleepCovo
Please see my comment at Talk:List of female Members of the London Assembly#Sortname_etc.
Per WP:BRD, please explain your reasons for reverting, and discuss them to try to reach a consensus. Please do not assume that you or any other editor WP:OWNs a page. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 21:44, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- How about you explain why you think your way is better before you make your changes as at the moment you make a change without consulting anyone! Rather hypocritical tbh! SleepCovo (talk) 21:47, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- SleepCovo, As I have explained to you probably a dozen times, the way WP works is WP:BRD:
- someone make a WP:BOLD edit
- another editor disagrees, and reverts it
- they discuss it to try to reach a WP:consensus
- Now, please go to Talk:List of female Members of the London Assembly#Sortname_etc and explain the reasons why think that it is inappropriate for the list to be sorted by surname. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 11:53, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

Belated welcome!

Redundant content forking
editHi SleepCovo
Please do not create content forks, articles which duplicate an existing page.
You created[1] List of female Members elected to the House of Commons of the United Kingdom as content fork of List of female Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. The page you created appears to have identical content, and has an almost identical title (it adds only the word "elected", which is superfluous because all MPs are elected).
I have therefore redirected[2] the new page to the existing List of female Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.
I think you may have done this because of our disagreements at Talk:List of female Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, but per WP:REDUNDANTFORK, that is an unacceptable type of content forking. Please discuss your concerns at at Talk:List of female Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, and try to reach a WP:CONSENSUS. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:18, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
Categorizing photos
editGreetings! I see that you've uploaded several photos of members of the US Congress to Commons. It'd make the photos much more available to other Commons users if you'd categorize them when you upload them. This isn't difficult: you can either do it while you're uploading, or by editing the file after you've uploaded. I've taken care of File:BradAshford2015.jpg, by creating the new category Commons:Category:Brad Ashford for him, then putting that into higher categories based on those for other members of Congress. You might want to go through some of your recent uploads and do likewise. If you've got any questions about the process, drop me a note at my Wikipedia talk page (which I check much more often than my talk page at Commons); I'll be glad to give you what help I can. — Ammodramus (talk) 15:55, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

editYou are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Marquis de la Eirron. Thank you. This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bbb23 (talk) 18:11, 13 June 2015 (UTC) |
