The article Global Health Governance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable journal (published on a blog site). Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Apparently does not even have an ISSN. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 19:06, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

PK650 (talk) 22:30, 31 January 2022 (UTC)ANI and AE and aspersions
edit[1] It does one very little good to threaten to take things to a noticeboard. If you'd like to do it, do it. Even though I do not think it has risen to that level, and in general I would recommend against it, as WP:BOOMERANG is an imposing cautionary tale. Likewise, these boards do not appreciate it when conduct disputes are brought there instead of dispute resolution.
Repeatedly threatening to take another editor to these noticeboards is not taken kindly on Wikipedia, see: WP:ASPERSIONS, and can be construed as harassment. Especially when/if it is ever considered to be an attempt to discourage other editors from participating in a discussion. — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 22:07, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- I'd support any measure to topic ban Shibbolethink from Covid-19. 2600:1700:8660:E180:D8A4:BA26:75FB:A8FF (talk) 23:39, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Shibbolethink: dispute resolution was already attempted with the RfC, except that you are twisting its context [2] [3], contradicting your own !vote [4]. I don't think there is anything I or anyone else can say in any discussion that you won't retort to with some irrelevant policy just to WP:WIN. There is no consensus to remove the (attributed) allegations against the Chinese government, which Thucydides411 has been trying to remove from Wikipedia for over a year [5], now in coordination with other editors [6]. Both you and these editors have gone from arguing against a COVID-19 origin theory the Chinese government pressured the WHO to drop [7], to arguing against an account of the COVID-19 outbreak that the Chinese government denies, and for a containment strategy every government in the world has dropped. Patience is wearing thin. ScrumptiousFood (talk) 19:17, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thee are other forms of dispute resolution we could try: An RfC on the page itself. A WP:3O. the dispute resolution noticeboard. etc etc. I'm sorry that you feel that I've contradicted myself or attempted to WIN any discussion with you, that is not my intent. — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 20:25, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
- Shibbolethink, how do you figure those diffs don't show you contradicting yourself? ScrumptiousFood, I have more diffs if you want to take this to AE. This needs to stop. LondonIP (talk) 00:22, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

- one diff is me asking an earnest question and the others are me making statements. I do not state things that are contradictory, I instead ask for your position on a specific question, so I can better understand the discussion. By assuming these edits "contradict" you are assuming what my opinion is of the best answer to that question, and I suspect you might be misunderstanding my position on it. If you want clarity, just ask, as I have done. As always. I am still awaiting answers to some of those questions. I think there may be answers buried deep in replies to other threads on other pages from other users, but I cannot find them. I am asking your stance in that diff, @ScrumptiousFood. I would never assume that you would have the exact same opinion as anyone else, simply because you and they had agreed in some other discussion. I would hope you would grant me the same curtesy. Failure to do this is a component of WP:BATTLEGROUND behavior.I disagree with the interpretation you have stated of my actions thus far, if that wasn't already clear. It rarely does one well to try and understand what is in the mind of other editors. I have already said many times that I think an encyclopedic attributed description of the allegations, in summary style, belongs in the article. I think our disagreement falls in what that summary looks like. Please do not ascribe views or opinions to me that I have not expressed myself, such as that I want to erase mentions of this, or that I am "arguing against" criticism of the Chinese government. I am doing no such thing. That is a small band of straw men in a field of scarecrows.. — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 00:53, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- Very specifically, I would like to point out the differnece between "twisting...context" and the actual reality, which is that I may have misunderstood what was meant by "Chinese academic publications," since it was not clarified by the OP until very very recently. A misunderstanding is not "twisting context." The former is a factor of asking for clarity (which I did), the latter is an intentional act of malice (which I did not do). — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 01:51, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Shibbolethink: I find it difficult to accept your argument in good faith. I don't want to have to take this to WP:AE, but I also don't see why we should go through WP:DR when WP:NOCONSENSUS would advise to retain the undercounting allegations in the Chinese government response to COVID-19 and COVID-19 pandemic in mainland China pages. I checked the number of editors involved on both pages and observed a rough consensus to keep the allegations, and even a softening of stance, up till your incongruant analysis. ProcrastinatingReader's arguments for deleting the allegations and demand for scientific sourcing are likewise without validity, for a subject that is clearly political. Please edit the section in the draft I created. ScrumptiousFood (talk) 18:28, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

Re: my alleged COI
edit[8] Either bring this to WP:COIN or let it go. The way you have continued to use it in an attempt to besmirch my reputation runs afoul of WP:ASPERSIONS: It is unacceptable for an editor to routinely accuse others of misbehavior without reasonable cause in an attempt to besmirch their reputations. Concerns, if they cannot be resolved directly with the other users involved, should be brought up in the appropriate forums with evidence, if at all.
If you do it again, I will bring it to WP:ANI for a more formal sanction. — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 21:24, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Bare URLs
editHello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, and in particular for adding references, as you did to Jixian Wang! However, you should know that adding a bare URL is not ideal, and exposes the reference to linkrot. It is preferable to use proper citation templates when citing sources. A bare URL is a URL cited as a reference for some information in an article without any accompanying information about the linked page. In other words, it is just URL copied and pasted into the Wiki text, inserted between <ref>...</ref> tags, without title, author, date, or any of the usual information necessary for a bibliographic citation. Here's an example of a full citation using the {{cite web}} template to cite a web page:
Lorem ipsum<ref>{{cite web |title=Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac |publisher=Canon Inc |work=Ask a Question |date=2022 |url=https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART174839 |access-date=2022-04-02}}</ref> dolor sit amet.
which displays inline in the running text of the article as:
- Lorem ipsum[1] dolor sit amet.
and displays under References as:
- 1. ^ Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac". Ask a Question. Canon Inc. 2022. Retrieved 2022-04-02.
If you've already entered one or more bare urls to an article, there are tools available to expand them into full citations; try the reFill tool, which can resolve some bare references semi-automatically. Once again, thanks for adding references to articles, and to avoid future link rot, please consider supplementing your bare URLs—creating full, inline citations with title, author, date, publisher, etc. More information can be found at Wikipedia:Inline citations. Thank you.
