Dayar-e-Dil - Edits

edit

Hello @User:Sammy.joseph, Welcome to Wikipedia first and second thank you for making your TALK PAGE. You have created the Page, which is good, but to maintained it with good and prosperous contents is foremost duty of editor. As i have seen your edits and undid it like hundreds time, because they were unnecessary, poorly sources, heavily repetitive mentions references. I have maintained this article to my best and i don't let anyone spoil it. Please brother do not edit the page for just filling contents which has no importance. I would like to list some of your regular edits which i undid repetitively and i am mentioning it please:

  • Do not add any refrences infront of character as it is already being mentioned.
  • Do not create or reuse further references like: ref name="for.example"/.
  • Do not fill out the section Preceded by or Related shows.
  • Do not add any picture, which is likely the same as of title picture.
  • Do not add references that is poorly stylized, or without accessdate, publisher name or with actual date of content.
  • Do not add any link source to External Link section regarding to OST, EPISODES because i have already mentioned and properly provided the links, since i revamped the article.

I appreciate your work on Wikipedia, but you need more maturity for that, and we would honor to help you. Please take no offense and no grudge against my mentioning, because it is all in the end for the article prosperity.

And one more thing your title cover is never reported by HUM TV, it is an side poster by Facebook page of channel and media outlets, the real title screen should be same as of the title screen of serial that is being shown on television screens, which solemnly contains only NAME of serial. If you have any query, you're welcomed. Last but not least, any further disruption to article will be considered as Vandalism on Wikipedia. Faizan Talk May 19, 2015, 17:01 (UTC).

Do you not understand that {{disambiguation needed}} is a completely different thing from {{citation needed}}? The PROBLEM IS that THERE IS NO ARTICLE at Abid Ali -- click on that page and look. It is a disambiguation page. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 11:50, 3 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

re Edits Regarding Diyar-e-Dil

edit

My edits are not "ruining" the article, they are bringing it more in compliance with polices, for example that content must be verifiable as published in reliable sources, not user generated sites and the removal of hidden warnings that do not have any basis in policy. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:29, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sammy.joseph, at this point your edits are becoming outright disruptive. There are serious concerns being raised regarding your use of copyrighted images in the article, and this is not the fist time they've been raised. In addition, you keep restoring your preferred content with hidden notes that say other editors cannot change your text. As TRPoD has pointed out to you immediately above, the instructions in the hidden notes have no basis in policy and do not belong in the article. I strongly suggest that you seek consensus for your desired changes on the article talk page as further edit warring to restore your preferred version in conjunction with continued copyright concerns will likely result in a block. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:55, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Premise of Dayar-e-Dil

edit

Hello, Sam it is better to keep the story as a outline, i changed it before you undo it again. Brother page is getting edited tens of times a day, do not add any material or any further references pay attention and keep the material less and valid, reliable. Fushan007 Talk 4:45, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Dayar-e-Dil

edit

Hello, Sam, what i did a while ago for article was to save it from further editing. You are doing good, but references like IMDb are not valid and same or twice used references are not right. What i did i made an separate page for episodes as it is usually done if episode summary and episodes are wide in numbers, and you undid my version, at least ask or consult before making any changes with those editors who are in good faith of reviving an article in healthy shape. I have undid your version please look at the article it looks better. To make it complete we have to wait, because right now serial is getting air and after final rating the premier date and reception in media outlets will come, which will give us valid source to put material in page. Right now media coverage is merely seen to that serial. Please editors like "Red Pen of The Doom" have already created enough mess or in his/her view good. So please stay the page as it is now. Further next year may a serial will get nominated for different accolades which will give the final look to the article but right now it is right. You can visit different TV Series pages which is mended just like what i did, but unfortunately our media coverage is not enough to cite or claim anything without a reference, even if it is true. I hope you get it brother. User:Fushan007Talk 16:48, 5 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Diyar-e-Dil

edit

Saam for God sake for once atleast listen and pay attention to my edits. That title screen is not official, or even if it right to display promotional screens, the official one is required. And the characters containing screen is already i have put in characters article. Wait for my edit, i am building Diyar-e-Dil again to one cannot object. You created this article that doesn't meant you own this. All have rights to make edits. You have seen my edits, and you can trust me with this one. Please Sam wait and don't hover over anything. Let me made this article please. and please IMDb is not a source and second do not use same references thrice if it contains less important information. I am asking you to hold on article. Just in two days you will see an entire new article with sources that no one claim are weak. Please. Lemme takeover it. Fushan007Talk 22:45, 25 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

More work needed

edit

[1] by my rough count there are still 11 uses of the non reliable source reviewit, 3 uses of non reliable source gossip.pk about 9 uses of the non reliable source brandsynario and a bunch of other non reliable sources in the content you have restored. You have a lot of cleaning up left to do. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:55, 26 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ded

edit

I apologize for the tone which was nothing but a momentary gesture because of the mess i was dealing with all day. I feel low, really i do and if there is a mistake i regret it. Second please stop adding references, it is alright with the portion having no references rather than being loaded with references that says the same thing as others. I have seen articles and even made having references few but strong one. What Pen is saying is not to load a portion with references but to provide one and that of strong one. I have removed several references and one portion, let it be the article like that. Now no one will change it, just focus on the Episodes, which are left few. There is no more information you or i can add till its finale, i have already put every information out there. And i have texted my friends on Dawn, Galaxy Lollywood, Daily Times and Dunya News to conduct interviews or published DD material if they did then i will add references and if they don't then it still alright. Pen has to create a stir no matter what. But i ask you now as a brother stop editing DeD if you want to see it as an well-written article which it is right now. Because Pen has added the Ref. tag at the top of the page and i hope he will not remove anything now. So i urge you to just guard the article not to edit or load it with new material or ref. Hope you get it! Fushan007talk 01:42, 27 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

We have talked alot, and i have tried to maintain the article as true to content as possible. Adding, linking or any unnecessary details (sources like, Review it, HIP, dramapakistan) or any other source/reference that is primary or tertiary will leads this article to be tagged again. As you can see this article looks good, so if you will complain me that i remove this and that, well i didn't i always add something and strong so it should not be challenged. You created this article but i rose it from bottom to top so please refrain from telling me, like i don't understand what to do. Regarding episode page, it is important to let the episodes in a separate article even if it comprise of one season, (and as you know Pakistani dramas don't have seasons) otherwise article will become lengthy. Nauriya (talk) 20:24, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Plot Details"

Regarding plot details we have to explain through protagonist character development to the others, and it should not contain the whole story or every character's details. I wrote exactly how it should be written and it should not disclose or concludes the ending. If people (readers) wants to know extra they can refers to "Diyar-e-Dill (novella)" page for brief plot details or can follow episodic summary. However, i am planing to add one extra line in front of each character explaining their roles in series. And there is no point of continues editing to article as it will not reflect any change and as it has concludes its run. Only final and overall rating section is pending which i am regularly doing. And by the way User Pen didn't write anything. Nauriya (talk) 22:38, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Nauriya: actually we DO "disclose or concludes the ending" not merely provide promotional teasers.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:55, 29 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Regarding Manuel"

I know very well about Manuel and i didn't enlist any personal favorite or popular character first, if it would be the case then Sanam Saeed would be listed first, and yes cast credits is provided by production not us, which is exactly i listed after watching the screen credits and let me tell you American series have star billing and they are credited in each episode by mention, similarly they have several cast types such as Guest Star, Recurring cast, special cast and episode star, and we have no such details or never production mentioned, so what we have to do in case is just to watch the screen credits at the end of episode. Stop accusing me of something that you don't know. I changed the position of the Cast picture in casting section. If you want to add anything any irrelevant let irreverent anything that is extra i will revert. And that is not vandalism, not any Manuel violation and not any Wikipedia disobedience. I never said i have more experience in a way that i bagged but have said that trust me and my editing. Nauriya (talk) 23:03, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Sam, about episodes list

edit

I completely agree with you on creating separate list is not necessary for series having one season. But you cannot put tag of deletion in such cases, you have to put tag of "Template:Merging". But i need your favor and wan't that please leave Diyar-e-Dil episode page and for future work mention that we don't have to create any separate page. If you want to take action List of Mann Mayal episodes then please put merger tag i won't be having any issue, administrator will review and will merged but "page must" or "cannot be deleted" in such cases. List of Mann Mayal episodes

edit

Greetings!
I removed the {{merge}} tags you added on List of Mann Mayal episodes because you didn't specified the reason for merging the article. And please read WP:Episode which says you can create the episodes list article if the series is notable. As the article List of Mann Mayal episodes is not doing any violation then there is no need to merge it.
Thanks--Musa Talk  09:32, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

List of Mann Mayal episodes

edit

Hello
Please stop adding {{merge}} tag to the article List of Mann Mayal episodes and read WP:MERGEPROP. The article will not be merged if you just add {{merge}} tag at top of it. Start a discussion about why you want to merge it or you simply put AfD. Now please refrain from giving me the reason to merge it or adding the tag again without giving a reason otherwise I will go to WP:AIN.
Thanks--Musa Talk  12:07, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Accolades of Diayr-e-Dil

edit

Where did you get the information for rest of the categories, i couldn't find any and moreover Ali Rehman Khan has already won the Hum Award for Best Television Sensation Male in 2013, Please wait until the full nominees are announced. Without source it cannot be listed, if they actors have announced on their facebook pages showing invitation letter from Hum TV, then it is not valid source to enlist such claims, you know that right?. So please wait. After 18th April hopefully all the nominees will be announced. Nauriya (Rendezvous) 16:54, April 11, 2016 (UTC)

About pics in Cast or Casting section

edit

Actually i did go through many articles to see i find it completely random. For example American Horror Story: Hotel has an entire cast pics in casting section, then in How to Get Away with Murder all cast member pic was in Casting section. There is no rule in it. If have any you can show me and if not, you should leave it that way or you can revert but don't change the pattern of pics that i made, just replace the whole multiple image template with casting pic. Non-free images

edit

Please do not upload high-resolution versions of non-free images, especially after their size has been reduced. Per Wikipedia's non-free content policy, non-free images must be low-resolution. File:Title Screen of Hum TV's Udaari.jpg was reduced in size so as to comply with this policy 2 days ago, and should not have been replaced with a high resolution version. --AussieLegend () 12:02, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

POV content

edit

Hi there, re: this, "best known" is your opinion, and our opinions don't belong in articles. Simply saying that the network has broadcast these series would be sufficient a la "Urdu 1 has broadcast a number of series including Ishq-e-Memnu and Fatmagul" but even then it's unclear why we would need to indicate in the lead what series it has broadcast when the bulk of the article is a list of programs it has broadcast.

There are other issues too: Turkish should be capitalized. Television series names should be italicized. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:39, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:08, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

RonBot (talk) 17:59, 26 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Aangan

edit

Hi, Thanks for your contributions! In reply of your recent edits on the page Aangan (Hum TV series), there are many things to say. You have added some unsourced content, some repeated references and wiki-links, some Italic text, as well as some possible copyright violation. The television article is not to discuss the personal life of a person, as that goes in the wiki-bio of the person. Some of the content was already removed earlier, which you have re-added.

Although, you are most welcome to make your efforts, you should provide the content in such words or sentences that does not show the exact copy-paste from other sources, but you must prove your every edit with trustable and reliable references, as well as with an edit summary.

Hard to do, but many of your edit should be undone. You can check how to write a TV show article on wikipedia, further, you can test you edits on WP:Sandbox before implementing on the main page. Hope it helps, Thanks! M. Billoo  11:37, 10 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thanks for your contributions! The reason I didn't separate the "Casting and filming" section is to avoid repeatition of same sentences, if it can be told once. You wrote, "release dates and further information to be added soon with reliable souurces". Is there any reference for "Wazirabad was set as India", "second spell in Lahore" and "The filming was completed in October 2018"? You made a table of Reception, having "TBA" (to be announced) or "TBD" (to be decided), so then why you added it too soon? Add after these are announced officially, or have some reliable reference.

This is the earlier removed line, "Ahad Raza Mir confirmed that Aangan was set to premier in April 2018". However, the reference says, "Mir also confirmed that the show's shoot is currently taking place and is expected to air on Hum TV by March/April 2018." So, no need to add this statement or reference in the page again. There were many expected dates shared by them, but the only announced official date was 13 December 2018. However, the start date for the drama is added after it has started.

If the reference is already used once in a page, mark it with <ref name="abcxyz"> when you want to use it more than one time in the same page. Hope it helps, Thanks! M. Billoo  03:28, 16 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Sammy.joseph! Thanks for uploading this file. Can you please add the exact source from where you have got this image? It would be more helpful if we could update the image requirements. Thanks! M. Billoo 18:09, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2018 TV series). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diff: [3] Nobody's interested in your personal opinions or observations. If the pilot actually received positive response, you need to source that. If they won notable awards you would need to source that. Also, what was this edit about? You copied content from another page, presumably (without proper attribution), but also didn't realise that copying reference numbers is useless? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:10, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ehd E Wafa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ISPR (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Picture causing loading too much on Sajal Aly's page

edit

Appreciate your efforts for adding Sajal Aly's image as the article was needed an introductory image however the image you uploaded is causing too much loading on the page and opening after so much time one will visit the article. The reason for this may be the size of file or other reasons like that. Is it possible to re add the image with smaller size or reduced length so that this issue will overcome? Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Kahani Raima Aur Manahil Ki Ost screenshot.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Kahani Raima Aur Manahil Ki Ost screenshot.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 07:50, 19 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
