Hello Robin S. Taylor, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Adam Tuck, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Tuck.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Sionk}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Hello Robin S. Taylor
Firstly let me say how mightily impressive are your herald painting skills - superb work - allez, allez svp!
Also I should be much obliged if you could help by creating an image (incl. a line drawing, if poss) of the quartered arms of the Earl of Lincoln. When the dukedom of Newcastle-under-Lyne became extinct in 1988, the 10th & last Duke's subsidiary title of Earl of Lincoln (cr. 1572) devolved upon his 10th cousin, becoming the 18th Earl. As yet, I have seen no illustration of the 19th and present Earl's arms, quartering Clinton (1. & 4.) with Fiennes (2. & 3.), which are blazoned:
Escutcheon: Quarterly, 1st & 4th: Argent six Cross Crosslets fichées Sable three two and one on a Chief Azure two Mullets Or pierced Gules (CLINTON); 2nd & 3rd: Azure three Lions rampant Or (FIENNES)
Crest: Out of a Ducal Coronet a Panache of five Ostrich Feathers Argent banded with a Line laid chevronwise and knotted Azure
Coronet: That of an Earl
Mantling: Ermine and Sable
Supporters: On either side a Greyhound Argent collared and lined Gules
Motto: LOYAULTÉ N'A HONTE
Thanking you in advance for any assistance & looking forward to hearing from you.

Your draft article, Draft:Charles III Coronation Music
editHello, Robin S. Taylor. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Charles III Coronation Music".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 22:58, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Nigel Birch 1950 (crop).jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Nigel Birch 1950 (crop).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:30, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:John Boyd-Carpenter 1949.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:John Boyd-Carpenter 1949.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:39, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:James Stuart 1943.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:James Stuart 1943.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:David Eccles 1953.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:David Eccles 1953.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Illustration request
editDear Mr Taylor
I wonder whether you might create the escutcheon of the Counts of Rendufe, like this one https://www.heraldrysinstitute.com/lang/en/coat_of_arms_card/idit/16980/Coat of arms of family Silva. They belong to the first Count. These arms are entirely absent on wikipedia and very difficult to find on the net. They have been misattributed by auction houses and the only one online is completely wrong and made up. I would be most grateful! Oanvoovad (talk) 18:57, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
Your contributed article, 2024 Special Honours/Draft
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 2024 Special Honours/Draft. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 2024 Special Honours. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2024 Special Honours. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. --MuZemike 16:22, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
editHello Robin S. Taylor! Your additions to University for the Creative Arts have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Baron Grady of Altrincham
editA tag has been placed on Baron Grady of Altrincham requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". — RAVENPVFF · talk · 17:03, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

The file File:Anthony Grainger Inquiry Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused "logo" image. It's just the words typed in Arial font with blue color. It's not being used here, and I don't think it has educational use to justify a transfer to Commons (there's a Not Commons tag on it now, out of concern that it's copyrightable under the UK's low threshold of originality but I think even in the UK this would be too simple for copyright protection).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ajpolino (talk) 23:07, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
