The Global University moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to The Global University. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no secondary sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Justiyaya 10:39, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Short description

edit

If you must add the short description in Pakistani constituency pages then, please use "Constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan" instead of "Constituency of the National Assembly of Pakistan", although both are correct, but "Constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan" is more commonly used and sounds more natural. Thanks for the feedback! I'll follow that pattern when making any future edits. Phil herbs (talk) 21:24, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

WikiGnoming

edit

Thank you for the work you're doing on short descriptions, especially removing them from disambiguations. On an additional note, if you see short descriptions in set indexes or name pages, you should remove them as well. Not sure if you already knew that but it's knowledge I thought I'd share. I would encourage you to perhaps use edit summaries a bit more often, but otherwise keep up the good work! AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 22:52, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the kind message, I appreciate it! I didn't know that about set index and name pages, and I'll be sure to be on the hunt for those too.
Re: blank edit summaries, I've been using the “ Add article description” feature on the iOS app, which I now realise automatically submits an empty edit summary! I've just submitted a feature request for auto-generating or allowing providing edit summaries.
Thanks again, and have a good day! Phil herbs (talk) 23:53, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process.
