Moscovian

edit

G'day Pajwiki,

I'm operating on the assumption that you intend to make a real, good article out of Moscovian. If so, great! I look forward to reading what you end up producing. Just a couple of notes, if you don't mind ...

  • Wikipedia is beseiged by what we call "vandalism", and in response we have anywhere from a dozen to hundreds of volunteers (depending on time of day) scouring all new edits, trying our best to keep our encyclopaedia clean of crap. The article you've started at Moscovian, because it is so short and lacking context, was misidentified as something we needed to delete immediately. To stop this happening, please consider making longer edits before clicking "save" (perhaps drafting the article in your userspace, or in a text editor, first), so that we don't get pages in the main article area that meet our "speedy deletion" criteria.
  • You don't need to note on the article itself that you are the author. All articles come with a "history" tab attached, which details who made which edits and when, and you'll be credited there.

I apologise for the rude welcome you received; our volunteers are doing their best for the encyclopaedia, and mistakes sometimes occur. Thank you for taking the time to contribute, and I hope you stick around for a while! Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 14:56, 14 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I apologise as well for tagging the article for sppedy deletion, also when planning new articles a lot of users draft there articles in a "sandbox", you can find a personal one where youc an do pretty much anything you like here! User:Pajwiki/Sandbox Benon 15:01, 14 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
