Analysis Situs - book and paper

edit

In response to your question, yes, you can remove the redirect by directly editing the page: [1]. Just for reference, note that you can access this page by, for example, going to [2], clicking on the third bulleted entry, and then after being redirected to the paper, click on the link to "Analysis Situs (book)" at the top of the page. — Myasuda (talk) 01:51, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

February 2013

edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Analysis Situs (book), with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Jim1138 (talk) 07:04, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Analysis Situs (book), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Torsion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Analysis Situs

edit

No worries. Just so you know for future reference, a leading colon in a category link is used to create a text link to a category page without actually categorizing the page you're adding it to — so if you want to create a link to the category (e.g. on a page that's in your own userspace, or if you want to talk about a category on a talk page), then you put the extra colon in front of the word "category", but when you want to actually categorize an article you take it out again. Hope that helps a bit. Bearcat (talk) 07:51, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ununseptium

edit

Hi! I'd love to ask for your attention on the ununseptium article; it's currently a FAC, but few people have actually reviewed the article. The WP:Physics subpage lists you as a user who might be potentially interested in an article on a superheavy element (as with all superheavies, it is more physics and less chemistry than a regular WP:Elements article), as a one-time activity or otherwise, and your attention would be highly appreciated, as the previous FAC has gained too little attention to even stand a chance to make it to the FA status; hope you can take part.
