Articles to work on
editIt's hard to say! Some new editors like to improve coverage on their local area, or write on topics which relate to their jobs or hobbies. A good idea is to read a few articles that interest you, and see if there is a Wikiproject relating to them. Wikiprojects are places where editors can share ideas about improving Wikipedia's coverage of particular topics, and you might find that someone wants an article that you can start. Another idea is to find "redlinks" in articles you browse to, and try to write the article that will turn a redlink blue. Hope this helps! DuncanHill 21:55, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Regarding your edits to From the River to the Sea:
editYour recent edit to From the River to the Sea (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. You have been identified as a new user or a logged out editor using a hosting or shared IP address to add email addresses, phone numbers, YouTube, Geocities, Myspace, Facebook, blog, forum, or other such free-hosting website links to a non-talk page. Please note that such links are generally to be avoided. You can restore any other content by editing the page and re-adding that content. The links can be reviewed and restored by established users. Eastern Christianity
editHere is the Wikiproject to join: Wikipedia:WikiProject Eastern Orthodoxy there should be a section there to add your name as a member. DuncanHill 22:23, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Help again
editI'm not sure what you mean. DuncanHill 12:44, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes they can, but IP editors can't create new articles, or edit some articlews which have been "semi-protected" (usually articles that are controversial and get a lot of vandalism from IP editors). DuncanHill 22:44, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- As far as I know they can. DuncanHill —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 22:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I can read it - but it might be confusing for people! DuncanHill 10:14, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Small style note
editHi. Just an observation. On Wikipedia one uses lowercase in section names, so
==See Also==
should be instead
==See slso==

Dawkins
editRe [1], please see WP:CONTEXT. Mikker (...) 17:10, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- That's hardly a reasonable demand, right? You want a policy that says "you shouldn't link "rottweiler" and "bulldog" in Richard Dawkins"? But WP:CONTEXT does say not to link "Plain English words" and to link "relevant connections to the subject of another article that will help readers to understand the current article more fully". It seems pretty obvious that neither of the dogs are relevant to the context of the Dawkins article because they're 'plain English words' and linking them won't help readers understand the article better. Blocked
editI have blocked this account indefinitely as a suspected Sockpuppet. Review of early contributions makes it clear that this was not a new user and there are disturbing levels of crossover between the interests of this user and Kirbytime but the actual sockmaster is less important than the fact that the account appears to be being used to harrass and stalk another user. Request reason:
I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was doing was against the rules. I've seen other users revert the contributions of other editors. I'm taking a break from Wikipedia because of the stress that Mr. Guhan has caused for me anyway. I'm sorry. --Mostargue 20:29, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You are blocked for sockpuppetry. Your unblock request does not address that issue. — Sandstein 21:25, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I am not a sock puppet, Mr. Sandstein. Please look at the checkuser evidence.
Decline reason:
The CheckUser evidence showed the relationship between you and Kirbytime was inconclusive. This does not mean you still are not his sockpuppet. I have examined your contributions, and the articles you edit and your editing pattern are nearly identical to that of Kirbytime. Nishkid64 (talk) 01:12, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Phoenix(Julia).gif, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
