Thank you for uploading File:Ramesh Panigrahi.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

All images uploaded to Wikipedia are required to have two things per Wikipedia:Image use policy#Required information: verifiable information about their provenance and a copyright license. In addition, the person who takes a photo is typically considered to be its copyright holder (even in some cases where they're using someone else's camera) and only that person can release their photo under a copyright license that Wikipedia accepts. So, if this photo was taken by a Anindita Panigrahi, and that person is not you, then Anindita Panigrahi is going to need to choose one of the licenses listed here to release their photo under and provide a way for Wikipedia to formally verify they are giving their WP:CONSENT for the file to be uploaded to Wikipedia under such a license. Without a copyright license and some way of verifying the copyright holder's consent, Wikipedia isn't going to be able to keep this photo. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:55, 16 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
