Orphaned non-free media (Image:Nba live 09 allplay.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Nba live 09 allplay.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:24, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of She's Got a Boyfriend Now (song)
editA tag has been placed on She's Got a Boyfriend Now (song), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Standard mathematical notation
editIn this edit, you wrote this:

I changed this to the following, which is more standard usage:
If I were writing in full-fledge TeX or LaTeX I would normally put the comma outside of math mode, but with Wikipedia's TeX-like system, that leads to font mismatches and misalignments and other difficulties.
But I have often wondered why a fair number of mathematicians neglect such things as the other differences between the two lines above. TeX and LaTeX were deliberately designed to make it easy to attend to such matters. 2601:449:8302:1080:0:0:0:6C12 (talk) 19:03, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
