Re: Your edits to Value engineering
editHi, and welcome to Wikipedia! I wanted to touch base with you on your edits to Value engineering before taking any action on it, but I wanted to reach out and let you know that your edits have introduced more than a few grammatical, as well as capitalization errors. I'm going to revert to the edits for now, and I would recommend editing in the sandbox for a major rewrite like this to avoid making real-time edits to the public facing page. - Hi Nigel,
- I have invested significant time in the content that is proposed, and would welcome insights to address the grammatical & capitalisation issues that you mention - so that my work is not lost. How can I edit the last update that I saved, to publish this in consideration of your concerns please?
- Thank you,
- Mike Mike Uptimise (talk) 01:47, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Mike, you are able to view your edits by looking at your past review here! You can create your sandbox here and work on the page there without affecting the current public page! There are quite a bit, just to call out the capitalization of Cost Cutting, Stainless-Steel and a few others in the article. Also, by working in the sandbox, you're not having to keep making new edits over and over, saving a bit of time for you as well!
- Glad to have you here, excited to read your changes once you're satisfied with it! Nigel757 (talk) 01:58, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Also just to add on as well, the single sentence paragraphs introduced as well as the formula as it's own paragraph. Hope this helps! Nigel757 (talk) 02:00, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Dear Nigel,
- Thank you for your suggestions.
- I attempted to create a Sandbox, though am unaware if this eventuated as you wished? Likewise, I have addressed the grammatical points in good faith, though am limited by familiarity with the contribution process within Wikipedia.
- In short, I request your assistance to finalise any outstanding issues, so the update can be published please Nigel.
- Best Regards,
- Mike Mike Uptimise (talk) 23:15, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
