Previous experience on Wikipedia

Hello, please describe your previous experience on Wikipedia before creating this account. Graham87 (talk) 03:34, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I browse Wikipedia a lot in my free time, and joined to improve some pages I thought were lacking information or were worded strangely. My first edit was nominating Irregardless for deletion as it was an article I often thought didn't belong on Wikipedia. This is my first account; Irregardless was the first page I edited. Previous account(s)?

Hello, Masskito,

With your first edit, you nominated an article for an AFD deletion discussion and you have participated in other discussions. Most editors with your limited editing experience don't even know about the work at AFDLand for weeks and even months after they starting working on the project. Even if you had previous edited Wikipedia with an unregistered IP account, it wouldn't explain your familiarity with filing an accurate AFD nomination.

Please list your previous Wikipedia accounts on your User page or it could lead to question about sockpuppetry or block-evasion. If you have questions about this, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:44, 19 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't have any previous accounts. I'm aware there's no real way to prove this, but before I made any edits, I had already read most of the policies and notability guidelines. I would often browse Wikipedia, including policy, talk, and AfD pages, and I was already familiar with AfD discussions when I joined. Masskito (talk) 11:54, 20 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
