This Wikipedia thing is very complex I am not an Advertiser I know Mark DiBello my name is Christine Koch, I've known him over 25 years and I already thought he was on Wikipedia so I told him for his birthday and Christmas because  contacted him after 10 years Of not knowing him but that doesn't mean I don't follow him on social media and he's not paying me he said sure go for it I'll give you everything you need and I was going to give it to him for her birthday or Christmas present but apparently somehow all this stuff that is in newspapers and videos on him and with government websites seems to pass the citing part of Wikipedia but you guys don't think it's verifiable. Then your choice of username seems rather unfortunate. If I come here to write about a Jane Doe, and choose as my username 'JaneDoeAgent', would it not be reasonable to assume that I represent Jane Doe in some capacity? PS: So if you're not being paid for this, what is your relationship to DiBello? Part of the reason for asking is that you have uploaded a large number of images of personal nature, such as family photos. Sorry for the delay, this wiki thing is complex. My name is Christine Koch, Ive followed Mark DiBello about 25 years and thought he was already on wikipedia. He's not paying me! I contacted him in person after 10 years of nothing and he said he'd like to be in it, but the guy runs a charity, hes nearly broke, and he has 1000s of pics on his Facebook page and posts everything, like the pics. Why do you guys assume the worst? You wont find my name online because I am private and DiBello has done a lot of good things, if there is negatives, I am sure you will get them from contributors cause when he does a show, people hate on him. As for this own work thing, I did that because if you don't click that box the photos won't go on page. I wanted to give this to him for birthday and Xmas and now all that work you guys scrubbed for no fair reason. I wrote that I knew him and want to consider him a friend. This site is so complex! And sorry for all the typos but Mark's been tired of helping me and I'm tired of typing so I'm just dictating this. We don't talk that much recently I just thought he was always on Wikipedia and when  I saw he was and I just thought he deserved to be and all these criticisms have been inaccurate and negative; and again I don't know who you expect to write about somebody other than somebody who's a follower or fan or a friend, and like I said all his information is online he's got a lot of websites and a lot of social media and if I needed something he would send it to me like a reporter asking for follow-up information; and I'm not a reporter I'm very private and  I help him out as a nurse from time to time so I don't understand and again you guys are all very smart in this website is very complex it's hard enough to get done what I got done and now it's all for not MarkDiBelloBiographer (talk) 18:55, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This site is soooo complex. I think your judgment is unfair to begin with,  I just wrote my relationship to the subject and he was going to do it himself but it's too complex for him so I thought it would help him since I always thought he was on Wikipedia to begin with.  He's not paying me I haven't talked to him in months, all his information is online he's got thousands of pictures and articles on Facebook  it's just that their scans and screenshots, but nothing I wrote is inaccurate and if it sounds promotional it's because I try to be very positive and the guy's not a bad person but I'm sure if you posted his article some people might say negative things because when he goes on TV shows they often make negative comments.   the guy does a lot of different things he's not hugely famous, but I certainly think he qualifies his notable  he's been on a lot of TV shows and he seems to know everybody he's got his own website and everything I just don't understand it just seems very unfair and it was a great waste of time and effort over the holiday season, and as far as the other account goes Mark's father is going to help him but he died so Mark just gave me permission to use his account; we were just trying to do the right thing to get in your encyclopedia but you act like we're doing something criminal.  Anyways  Mark and I were both fans of  and he thinks it's a valuable resource for people I'm just sorry you're so negative and inaccurate about  me and him

I have no idea what this means.    Mark DiBello ministered to me 25 years ago, I've known about him ever since, but we had not been connected for the last 10 years.   I am nurse and something of an artist.  Mark and his father, who died broke and Mark runs a charity that doesn't make a lot of money, discussed ways to help other people; and document their lives but Mr DiBello so we didn't want to break any sort of rules you have so  I used his email, and one of Mark Anthony's with his permission.  Not once did we discuss him paying me any money; in fact he mentioned that he thought you paid people to put articles on but he  thought his would be lengthy so he didn't bother responding to an ad he saw; in fact he just got an offer on LinkedIn from some company because you rejected his article.  So with trying to keep with everyone of your rules although again the website is extremely extremely extremely complex; I spoke with them about it and he said take anything you need from his book his website, a hard drive he left me you name it, and I can email him anytime and he will text me or email me any picture or information I need; so everything I wrote is the truth and very verifiable through government websites and videos of him on these shows and pictures of him on his team so I don't know how that's not verifiable; and again we're not trying to advertise anything other than the fact that I'm very positive about writing and he would be humbled by the honor of being on your website since many people who haven't done as much as him are on there people he worked with and knows; again I was going to do it for his birthday but it's taken 4 days which all seems like a waste now and it was disappointing to me and I know extremely disappointing to him.  He and I know what overcoming long odds are about but apparently this is the hardest thing he's ever had to do and even my help isn't enough for him.  Honestly some of your policies don't make sense like if you don't own a picture  it won't allow you to insert a picture so are you saying the only people who wrote about President Obama we're only people who took pictures of him?  And that anybody who knew him couldn't write about him only strangers have to write?  Mark has been interviewed by newspapers before so he thought it was just like talking to a reporter and I would just document things that I knew and make sure I double checked with him so things are accurate and since you let people change things anyway; who knows what people can do and it seems just the bottom line is you all seem to have a negative mindset and are distrusting, or wrong assumptions even before anything gets posted, so I'm sorry about that but that's not the case with  me, Mark or his now deceased dad. BTW, You see this remark by D A Cartman who I have no idea who that is; saying Mr DiBello was never qualified and never will be?  So regardless of his past accomplishments, even if Mr DiBello  does a thousand spectacular things, maybe 100 other TV shows or is the host of the new Hollywood Squares and with Steve Harvey makes a billion dollars and decides to buy Ford Motor Company he'll never qualify?  Do you see the prejudice here? I'm sorry that you are frustrated with Wikipedia. Writing an article from scratch that gets accepted into the main space of the project is incredibly hard and you started with that rather than starting as a regular new editor. I removed that unnecessarily mean comment from your User talk page. Wikipedia is not "prejudiced" but we have very strict standards of notability which you can see at WP:N that determines whether a person or company is notable enough for an article on the project. Very famous people have had their articles deleted because they didn't meet Wikipedia standards of notability.

One problem with your account is the username you chose and I also wonder whether or not you own the copyright rights to the files you have uploaded. You can file an unblock request but I doubt you will be unblocked if you only want to write this article on this one person. If so, this means that you are likely a SPA, a single-purpose account, and won't be contributing beyond trying to work on this one article.

I'm sorry you have had such a rough introduction to the project but you are trying to do something that even some experienced editors don't do which is writing new articles. To be frank, Wikipedia is not an "easy" format to learn so your difficulty is understandable.

Thank you for your thoughtful and what seemed comprehensive  response which I can more easily understand.  Again I think  Mr DiBello's accomplishments are  notable enough for inclusion and I don't know that that's a dispute since nobody mentioned it before.

With regards to all the technical issues yes they are very confusing and quite frankly I don't understand most of them; but can see why it might be difficult because  this is a project with a lot of different people involved and not just one owner of a company or something.  

Yes I signed up as Mark DiBello Biographer because that's what I'm trying to do is  volunteer to help do his biography,  but he never paid me he never even offered to pay me in fact he was uncomfortable hiring somebody to do it because he sees ads for people who do such services.

I'm sorry that people have a suspicious nature but again  he's not trying to sell anything, and I think it's difficult to discern if somebody's advertising something because if somebody writes  about a subject in a way they're advertising for that person;  but I Faithfully try to follow every recommendation until the block and some of the other things that don't seem to make sense like being verifiable.  A lot of the newspapers he was in either don't exist or they don't have a presence online so he only has scans and screenshots of 63 years or 64 years of his life.

With regards to the single article thing, that I had not heard before and I guess that kind of makes some sense; because I'm not devoted to writing but I know he would be, but it seemed to say that he shouldn't write about himself, but I know he can be neutral even though  I'm very positive he happens to be negative but if he thinks it's going to be read by people  he can minister to them I'm sure he can do everything you tell him to do?  And who knows I might get into it because quite honestly I've read this Wikipedia thing and I know he's read it a lot I think that's why he and his deceased now father  thought it was a good project to believe in. He just wasn't comfortable paying somebody it doesn't seem genuine and it would be expensive I presume. But I do know we made some additions on other  Wikipedia pages because I would keep writing about  the subject and things related to him because he's always doing something new and evolved; and if you read the article the guys kind of all over the place.
