Date on Welcome Messages
If you put a date on the welcome messages, it will always stay there; the date will not alter to the current time. Currently I don't know which template for the time to use so that it doesn't subst. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ElectricRush (talk • contribs) 23:21, November 29, 2008 (UTC)
- I found a solution: use
{{subst:<includeonly>CURRENTTIME}}</includeonly>, {{subst:<includeonly>CURRENTMONTHNAME}}</includeonly> {{subst:<includeonly>CURRENTDAY}}</includeonly>, {{subst:<includeonly>CURRENTYEAR}}</includeonly>
- for the time instead of the subst time. MathCool10 23:33, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Didn't work. Could you do it at User:ElectricRush/Welcome? ~electricRush (T C) 23:38, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I will do so. MathCool10 01:05, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- It should now look like
- {{subst:, {{subst: {{subst:, {{subst:
- on the time place. MathCool10 01:09, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but it still doesn't work? User:ElectricRush/Welcome~electricRush (T C) 03:33, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- It's supposed to say what it says and will show the actual date when you subst: it. MathCool10 04:02, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Still doesn't work. The problem is that on the subpage User:ElectricRush/Welcome I don't want it to subst but after I copy and paste it on the user's talk page I do want it to subst. ~electricRush (T C) 05:22, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Solution is: Don't use your own. Just post this on the user's talk page:

{{subst:User:TomasBat/Welcome|Your username here}}
- That will fix everything. ~electricRush (T C) 05:27, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Then delete your subpage. MathCool10 01:51, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: Your ArbCom Vote
Thanks for your interest in this year's ArbCom elections. Unfortunately, we were required to set a criteria for voters, and that was decided to be the following:
- Voters must have a registered account that was created on or before November 1, 2008.
- Voters must have made 150 edits to articles on that account on or before November 1, 2008.
According to an automatic check, which I confirmed by looking at your contribution history, you have not met the requirements. Either you have not made 150 edits to articles (these edits must be in the main namespace) or you did not make them before the deadline of 23:59:59 November 1, 2008 (UTC). I've indented your votes. If you believe I sent this message in error, and that you do meet the requirements, please let me know on my talk page. Thanks, ST47 (talk) 02:10, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Alternate accounts
I notice that you have declared alternate accounts. In this case, it is required that your main user page should belong to Category:Wikipedians with alternate accounts. You have asked that no-one edit your main page. May I ask you therefore to add this to your main page yourself? Thanks, Ian Cairns (talk) 19:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for your careful consideration at my successful RfA. "knowledgable in many areas" was generous and appreciated. Please let me know on my talk page if you have any suggestions for me. - Dan Dank55 (send/receive) 22:10, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

- When you edit a page, the bottom line says "1 item remaining" but it never loads. Next to it, there is an icon. If you double-click on the icon, it shows the location of the "1 item remaining" and says blocked. How can I unblock it? MathCool10 22:46, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- Huh. Ask at the helpdesk maybe? There seem to be very few of us who use IE. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 22:49, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
