Edward Felten

Your edits introduce content referenced to blogs, which will not meet WP:RS and WP:V. Can you find better sources?LeadSongDog come howl 12:44, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

I could find other sources, but not better sources, given that I am using the blogs as primary sources and not as secondary source material. I.e.: I am not using the blogs as a reference -- I am talking about the blog posts themselves, both in the case of Felten's blog posts and the community reactions to Sequoia's threats. -- Marcika (talk) 13:09, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
If that's the intention, the text itself (not just the references) should make it clear to the reader that it is based on self published primary sources. Please consider also using WebCite to ensure verifiability. Blogs have a habit of disappearing.LeadSongDog come howl 13:20, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Homeopat

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Homeopat, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

unlikely typo of "homeopath", which is a redirect to homeopathy

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Or did I miss something? Is Patrick a ... no, sorry... :) Verbal chat 21:00, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Created in error, no issue with deletion. Good catch.LeadSongDog come howl 21:09, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
The prod has been removed, if you'd like to suggest deletion. Yours, Verbal chat 22:25, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

NHS Homeopathic hospitals

There used to be five. I think that there are now only four, but I can't be entirely certain about that. The Tunbridge Wells Homeopathic Hospital was due to have its funding withdrawn at the end of last month (there's a reference to this in the Regulation and prevalence of homeopathy article, sourced here). I've been looking for a RS stating that it has actually closed, but haven't found one yet. It has already been granted a temporary reprieve, having originally been scheduled to close in 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brunton (talkcontribs) 08:48, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorry - forgot to sign! Brunton (talk) 09:07, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I've found this, which states that "Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust will no longer be providing homeopathic services for patients in West Kent from 1 April 2009" in reply to a question about the closure of the hospital. I assume this means it has now closed - do we need something more explicit? Brunton (talk) 09:10, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Air Pampas

I restored and userfied it for you; see User:LeadSongDog/Air Pampas. I would have been less likely to delete if the first sentence hadn't said "is expected to begin operations in 2007"; implying that this was an obscure aborted effort, not something real. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:02, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Glenn D. Paige

I've just included in the "Authors on Paige" section (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_D._Paige#Authors_on_Paige) some of the references I have available for now. I think the reviews will help to improve and complete the "Contributions" section, mainly the "Scientific Study of Leadership", that was halted for lack of time. All the other biographical information comes mainly from a Festschrift prepared by 14 Korean political scientists back in 2004 and some of the introductions to "Nonkilling Global Political Science" (mainly James A. Robinson biographical comments). Other minor details come from a personal interview with Paige (not published) and the text at his Center, but those infos can be deleted. I think this is the kind of "push" the entry needed to come to a further level. Best wishes, --Cgnk (talk) 15:08, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I deleted the "Authors on Paige" as the references are contained in a note. All the references still need formating. Thank you for the edits. I'll get there eventually. --Cgnk (talk) 18:13, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
