Your contributed article, Opinion polling for the Indian general election, 2014

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Opinion polling for the Indian general election, 2014. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_general_election,_2014#Opinion_polls. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_general_election,_2014#Opinion_polls – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Logical1004 (talk) 05:08, 4 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

tell me where I attacked other editors...instead after BOLD the ONUS is on you to seek consensus per BRD(Lihaas (talk) 06:25, 7 March 2014 (UTC)).Reply

YOU seek discussion first per BRD. There is no 3RR. Instead BRD is clearly against YOU seeking change. and refrain from threats.(Lihaas (talk) 06:42, 7 March 2014 (UTC)).Reply
Again, after our BOLD eadditin was revrted the onus ins on YOU to get consensus by taking it to the talk page and not reinserting it.(Lihaas (talk) 17:42, 20 March 2014 (UTC)).Reply
This user is not interested in talking uselessly -Khushank94 (talk) 06:32, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Good to know you have read the message. Now you know you have to discuss first to gain consensus, and if you fail to discuss and gain consensus for your change per BRD, then you will be disruptively editing in future and that is vandalism(Lihaas (talk) 18:22, 21 March 2014 (UTC)).Reply

That is simply nothing for you to know. I don't want any one to tell me about 'disruptive editing' as you should be aware of it first -Khushank94 (talk) 13:29, 22 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Exit polling for the Indian general election, 2014

edit

Hello Khushank94,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Exit polling for the Indian general election, 2014 for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Amortias (T)(C) 14:41, 11 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

ITN/C nomination of Indian General Election 2014

edit

Thanks for your nomination of the 2014 Indian General Election at WP:ITN/C. I've reverted at because it duplicated an existing nomination. Feel free to contribute to that nomination. In particular, the source I've found for results says that at present less than half the seats have declared results; if you know of a more up-to-date source of results, please add it to Indian General Election, 2014 or Results of the Indian General Election, 2014. It is the result that we usually post at ITN, so the sooner the result is incorporated in the article, the sooner the news item can go up. GoldenRing (talk) 13:23, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you GoldenRing for all your courtesy. I knew that i am making a duplicate nomination but I searched all over wikipedia to find out how to make changes to a nomination as I didn't felt that it will be good to amend someone else's nomination and so I placed a new one. that is why I placed this as it have (of course from my view) a many nice thing then the present one. Please feel free to tell me more about how to make these or any other changes. I'll make necessary changes to above mentioned pages as soon as results are gazetted. -Khushank94 (talk) 14:34, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:17, 8 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Goods and Service Tax Council

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Goods and Service Tax Council requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.gstcouncil.gov.in/gst-council. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:00, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Goods & Services Tax Council Logo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Goods & Services Tax Council Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:21, 12 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
